Bata is one of the best and famous brand for shoes. I like them very much because on my visit to Mumbai. I have purchased a pair of shoes and sandals from the bata show room. It is very big show room where there is a lot of collection of footwear's available there.

It is very big showroom located at bhagat colony. There are lot of varieties in both trendy and classy models for both men and women. I selected some of the shoes and sandals which I have purchased for reasonable price. Which are long lasting. The attitude of the staff working there is really good. The helps customer's to select the right product of their need. There is a good space available for parking also. I never regretted for purchasing this shoes from bata showroom. I will prefer to buy my next pair also from the bata brand. I would like to recommend it for any one who are willing to purchase a good branded shoes at affordable price.

Bata Store – Mumbai is a big Bata footwear store that I visited yesterday for the first time. Men's footwear needs a hard sole and comfortable shoe or footwear. Bata therefore makes quality products. But the ground reality in this place was very different. They make you buy their high costly cheap products and can only fools you, else nothing. You will reverse Bata Shoes buying regret Money with Your Hard Earned. Used materials were used to make the chip and Poor Quality foot wares. I need good sports shoes to Bought, but there were no heavy shoes for mine. While handling, the sole gets out even before buying. OF ME, IT needs a Mach Not Used for sports and running. Now this was a shoe with a hole - requires a crop then throw this was only the dustbin.

Bata store products seem a short life, better to buy Khadims or Sparks shoe if you are searching for a running shoe.

Bata is a famous shoe brand in India. You found its store every corner of india.i have been use bata shoe from school time.its store is just four km away from my home.last month I bought a sandal for my self and got discount.its price may be high but it is reliable ans long lasting.

My brother also use bata brand shoe.you can buy other brand shoe from local market with cheap price but it isn't reliable and long lasting. Now I also wear bata formal shoe and sports shoe and I bought it for morning walk.its lather is very good and strong. You found many brand shoe like rebook, nike, puma brand shoe but bata is well known and family brand shoe. Here I am back with my second review for the day based on my own personal experience with Bata Shoe store in Ahmedabad. I still remember the day when I went to Gujrat on a vacation and my shoes got damaged while roaming the city of Ahmedabad.

I have visited the Bata Shoe Store in Ahmedabad and there was not a sufficient range to choose from. Finally, I bought a Bata Power casual shoes for around INR 2200. I have used that same shoe in my entire vacation in Gujrat and as soon as I returned back to Delhi, the shoes got damaged badly. I never expected such a worst result and quality from such a big brand like Bata.

It was completely unexpected for me as my dad always use footwear from Bata and he has a great experience with them. When it comes to me, I would never prefer to visit a Bata store again to purchase any of the product from them. I would also not recommend to anyone to visit and purchase a Bata product.

Bata is famous for its stylish foot wear since last many years. I have started wearing bata shoes when I was a kid and still wearing it. it has very few stores in ahmedabad. bata is the store where you can have so many options to wear shoes and sleepers. almost all the size of foot wear is available in bata.

In this store all the age group can find attractive foot wear. whether female or male. the quality of foot wear is just excellent. they never compromised their quality of shoes till today.

Bata is very well known brand in india.Most of us have been wearing bata shoes from our school days.So its nothing new to visit bata store.In last few years bata stores have changed the appearance.With changing time they have changed to a fancy store now.They sell more than one brand under one roof.Brands available are north star, marie clair, naturaliser.Apart from shoes they are selling accessories like bags, scarves and belts which is a great thing.

Belly shoes from north start are must have.I have bought them every year and they go on most of the outfits.These belly shoes are washable and durable for almost a year And they cost only 499.

I purchase this particular pair of shoes because I have trust over this brand from when I started wearing shoes. My dad had brought Bata shoes for me when I was small.  Bata shoes are quite comfortable and even we get Bata shoes at every corner of city because it so old company and they have so many outlets in the city.

There price is also quite reasonable and qualities of product are so good and long durable and wear and tear use. I like this product because this product has very good collection of office shoes and school shoes which is in demand always. This shoe suits my style in perfect manner with all kinds of clothes. Because black color is best for all dresses. I will consider Liberty as alternative of this brand.

This shoe had performed really well over a period of time and I am really happy with this brand for office use. I highly recommend this product to everyone

I am a regular customer of this store located in the main road. It is very big and spacious, two storey building. Men's footwear is on the downstairs and ladies and kids upstairs. There is a wide variety of choice for all.Prices seems to be little high.

You can try any model and select the ones which you like then take the correct size . The staff is very helpful.Ample parking space and above all Bata's brand name which ensures quality.The products are durable. I purchase home wear chappals and to wear for different occasion. My kids too are very happy to visit the shop to buy footwear.Since the brand has been in market for many years I trust Bata will always assure good quality.

Bata store is a store for shows. A very famous brand in India. My father used to take us to only bata store for shoes as they have the reliability and quality than none other brands.

But as we grow up, I wish they had more designs on the ladies section. I have observed they have selective designs. As I trust this brand, there are lots of expectations. Since it's rainy season, I am expecting a lot more new designs and style for bata store for men, women as well as kids.

Bata provides a huge range of variety for every class and every age group bata have relaxing shoe quality which gives good feel to ur feet . it do not pain ur foot.

In Mumbai, bata showroom is good . It gives a good welcome to every customer . Interior are so attractive that they pull customers toward it . Bata have such good quality that give ur full value of ur money . Parking space is good in mumbai showroom as it is location in spacefull area .

I love Bata Foot wear and have been buying bata foot wear for over 20 years now.  Previously, we used to purchase the bata foot wear from normal shop but for the past 10 yrs we used to buy them from the showrooms only.

We Usually prefer to buy Bata from T Nagar or Annasalai.  the shop is good but I have been disappointed most of the time.  Sometimes I go there looking out for a specific shoe but dont find that and come back. Sometime, I find the specific shoe but they wont have my Size.  And most these times the Representative dont help that much.

They only give good response to u only till the shoe or sandal wear we ask is available with them, once they find that the size or model or color is not available, they dont help u anymore.  They wont even care to show any other similar model which might suit. And this happened to me many times.

I visited over 6 bata showrooms in chennai - Madipakkam, Velachery, EA, spencers, T Nagar, nungambakkam and anna salai. And all of these are just similar.  Not helpful at all.

and more worst was the size, which I never get.

But Bata foot wear are very cheap and reliable. that why I still sometimes prefer Bata.

Overall, Bata footwear are reliable, but finding the exact suitable model here is a headache.  showroom staff are not helpful too.

I booked one pair of Sandal for my Niece on 14th Feb, 2012. The price is Rs.449/-.Order number is 10054747 dt.14th feb, 2012. Delivery within 7 days after payment received is given on website. After 7 days, I inquired with customer care no.18004192282. Representative asked me to lodge the complaint. Complaint number is 2012005189 dated 25th Feb, 2012. After this till date neither I have received the product nor any response from BATA INDIA. I am doing regular followup with customer care, always we get monotonous answer either our SYSTEM IS UNDER REPAIR or WE ARE ACCELERATING MATTER TO OUR HIGHER UPS. Even they are reluctant to give any seniors number nor ready to confirm delivery date of product. Now more than 20days are passed. I also wrote there customer care. BATA customer care has not courtsy to give simple reply.

This is the worst experience of BATA ON-LINE SHOPPING. I do not know when will get delivery, rather I will get or not?

I appeal all the BATA ON-LINE SOPPING customer's to take note of this before booking any BATA product ON-LINE. Also request to BLOCK this site which is just mis-leading the customers and eating the customers money. This is sinceare request to all customer before purchasing, one should think 100 times.

BATA ON-LINE SHOPPING customer care service is very worst. They are always keep you waiting for 10-15 minutes and after that you will receive monotonous answer that will accelerate the matter. Regarding BATA seniors, no need to say more than this.

All of u reading this review would accept that the name bata was of a reputed store selling school shoes, esp. which would last definitely for 1 year sometimes even 2. gone are the days when you buy a pair of slippers or shoes and expect them to last a year. not even the formal variety. the ones worth 1500rs dont even bother to look at...then u wud find everything above 2500 and entirely called by a new name hush puppies. where nothing is below 2.5k and quality is always low. what happened to the quality only time will tell.

I do miss the comfort of the shoes. seems each design is for different legs. wonder now whether mine are normal.??i wear a size 9 always a problem finding suitable shoes.most of the time the size is never available and the store guys say why dont you try 8 it fits you...do you really buy shoes to FIT you are for comfort. Now is my mind normal????

The frustration caused, to buy just a pair for office and you have already visited 5 bata stores..(tried other brands tooo but without luck) hopefully the  6th one I visit will atleast have the perfect size for me. I never realised it coud be such a tiresome project to buy a set. yes!! I did say project coz I have been searching for over a month now to find that right pair (of shoes). hope all you guys out there wish me all the best.

Since I had a very good experience with the Weinbrenner brand of footwear during my college days, I decided to buy their footwear(all-weather sandals) few months back thinking it would have retained the same good quality I found in their shoes(casual-wear). While the shoes during my college days lasted for a couple of years after much rough use, I was appalled to find that their sandals I had been wearing since July  2010 had worn off so soon. While the sole remains good, the velcro strap and the straps have come to shreds as if it was being worn for years. Since it was less than 6 months from purchase date, I approached the Bata shop I had purchased it from for a replacement or repairs. But, the salesmen claimed the sandals I had purchased have been phased out(no reason given, but perhaps poor customer feedback was a reason!) hence they couldn't help.

I had been wearing Bata footwear during my school days and noted that it has gradually lost its quality. But, Weinbrenner and Hush Puppies maintained their quality until I discovered these too have poor quality. I used to wear Hush Puppies formal black shoes to work, but they didn't last long, so I have switched over to other brands like Woodlands which are much better in quality though bit pricey.

Bata is supposed to be an international brand(Canadian MNC, I believe), but it is sad that a brand many of us grew up with has lost its reputation so much over time. It is well-known that they procure their products from vendors in various places, but I hope they put in more efforts towards Quality Control and restore the reputation it once enjoyed as the preferred brand for many of us.

Can you think of any brand for leather shoes? An Indian with ‘need-based’ shopping habits won’t be able to think beyond Bata. But from my experience with Bataproducts over the last couple of years, I think it is high time westart looking for other brands. Here is my story of a 1500 rs pair ofshoes that lasted less than6 months - and I didn’t play football with them!

My dad had purchased a pair from the Flexology range of shoes at Bata’s Goregaon(W) outlet in April. The looks of the shoes was great, and so was the price - Rs.1499 to be precise. Me & my dad are both very fond of shoes, and always take real care of the shoes. The shoes were purchased for a marriage and then were kept aside during the monsoons.After some time when using it at work, I realized that whenever I walked over little water, my socks would get wet. Initially I thought that the shoe had a little opening in the front from where water kept seeping in.

One day, out of curiosity, I turned the shoe over to find that the soul of the shoe had cracked, or rather sheared, right through. And guess what, same was the case with the other one.This had caused great stress on the sides resulting in wrinkles on the texture. Have a look at the pre-repair photos!

I wasted no time in searching for the bill. On studying it, I realized that since it is over 75 days, I wasnot eligible for replacement. I went to the Bata website to lodge a complaint. The reply was very prompt, and I appreciated it. They had asked for details of the purchase and the article number that is uniqueto each shoe. They suggested that I take it to the store I bought from and that they would do the needful.

On reaching the store, I was told that Bata had instructed them to either repair the soul or give me a waiver of Rs.750 on another purchase. I literally got mad! I had purchased shoes worth Rs.1500, and in less than 6 months they were half the value. Moreover, I did not want to spend anymore on Bata shoes. I went ahead with the repair, and was told that it would take a week. As expected, there was a delay but I got the shoes. Have a look at the post-repair photos!

The condition of the shoes had further worsened. The mending had made the shoes look very strange. Moreover, changing the soul required that the body of the shoe be cut to fit the new soul. The so-called leather had already started shredding. I pointed this out at the store and they old me that this is not even leather. When I buy Rs.1500leather shoes from Bata, I believe that I am getting the best leather. And now someone is telling me that its not leather! In no time, the surface had started dropping off, exposing the inner canvas.

I am extremely displeased with the quality of the product. Quality is central to everything - be it a pen, T-shirt, car or software. I had used the shoes with extreme care, the body is evident of the fact. However, shearing of the soul at the same place for the pair indicates nothing but poor quality of manufacture.Due to the shearing, the rexine near the crack had wrinkled, after which I stopped wearing the shoes. But this is not the first time with Bata. My mother had the same shoes with her shoes she used for her walk. For my whole life I have owned Bata formal shoes - not worn but owned; that’s my love for my shoes. But the last couple of years, the quality has gone to the dogs. You should have seen the inside of my shoes, the material had literally eroded.

For years, Indians have known nothing besides Bata. Its a 100 year old international brand that has been trusted for generations. Bata should be check the kind of distrust they are cultivating in customers, who know no other brand. I don’t know how serious they are about customer feedback; but if I were them, I would be deeply concerned. Asa customer, I really do not see a reason to continue the loyalty, because if a product purchased at a non-discounted price of Rs.1499, does not last a quarter and fractures, its time people move on.

The purpose of this post is not to get refund or a new article, and their waiver does not excite me at all. A genuine apology and replacement of the shoes, that I love so much, with the same model is all I want. For the curious, I still have the shoes packed in a bag.

I had visited the Bata

Showroom at Usman Road in T.Nagar, Chennai . I selected a pair of sandals and

noticed that one of them was of size 10 and the other was of size 11. I brought

this to the attention of one of the employees there and said I wanted a pair of

size 11. He replied “Someone must have taken home the wrong pair” and went

away. Ditto with two other persons there. The last person asked me to select a

different sandal. I selected a different sandal and asked for a bigger size in

the same model. He said something to the effect of “Take something that is on

display. Don’t ask us for a different size or model”. When I said I wanted to

buy shoes too, the experience was bad again. Overall, the Bata persons there

behaved like they were there to just do the billing after we give them the

shoes ourselves. They would not even bother to take out a single pair of shoes.

The Discount sale was going on and it looked like those temporary discount

sales(in marriage halls hired for a week), where you can pick up anything for

Rs.100. You pick up the stuff and the persons there would be just for

collecting cash. This was a really bad experience I had at Bata, where it

seemed like I have to coax the person into showing me some models/helping me to

buy. Looks like they think discount sale itself is a big favour for the

customers and that the customers do not deserve better shopping experience. I

must admit that this is the first such experience in my so many years of Bata

experience. Still, this was so bad that I thought it was worth sharing.
