how is the gear shift in avenger 220. hard or soft. any issue with gear system

The main problem with the gear shift between 4th and 5th and sometimes 1st and 2nd and random. it goes to neutral it get stuck to it.

Gear shifting is great and soft. Bajaj is the greatest company in bharath. Lot of kachra companies like hero, yamaha, honda staff are writing paid trash reviews here to tarnish the image of Bajaj bikes here.

Gear shifting will suck. It may behave soft, hard, very hard or simply gets stuck from time to time. and also confusion in False neutrals. At the time of shifting make sure you apply some pressure on the lever and press it firmly.

AS i got new avenger before 2months . Having problem in engine becaouse it is new and in warranty i visited at showroom they said to pay charges for that. I have to pay or not ?

how is the gear shift? is it soft or hard? did any one compared its pick up with RTR200 or FZ25....

Gear shifting will suck. It may behave soft, hard, very hard or simply gets stuck from time to time. and also confusion in False neutrals. At the time of shifting make sure you apply some pressure on the lever and press it firmly.

So I recently got my Bajaj Avenger 220 Dtsi serviced and changed the original horn that stopped working completely with a single red Hella Grill super Loud tone for(6amps approx) and added 2 Pieces U11 CREE-LED - Head Hunters LED Projector 3000LMW Headlight Fog Lamps which are approx 12V on consumption. (Question in the comments)

Though the problem is all solved now, I want to confirm if this was the right move(long term) wise. Do I have to make any further changes to keep the horn and flood lights and be safe at the same time. I've read about electrical fires and all so I need some expert advice. Do we have to install higher capacity cables?

After the addiction, my bike started to switch off mid ride and sometimes never started. So the mechanic on the road mentioned that since the additions pull in about 10amps more, I had to switch up my fuse capacity.
So from the original 15a & 10a fuses, he put two fuses of 20amp each(40amp total) in these sockets.

I am going to buy a 2014 BAJAJ AVENGER 220 soon. 2nd hand, 13,000 km, good condition. I am planning to lower the rpm at high cruising speeds (120). Yes it is. Im from Assam. Me and my friends always spend our free time in Shillong(a hill station). We have got 4 Avengers that mean 8 friends and whenever we ride people around us always say .... THE AVANGER GANG

I have bajaj avenger 220 street. Driven only 2300 kms so far...when i start bike after long time (8-10 hours) , the engine initially trips & stops lot of time for 5 mins.have to start bike again & again...then it works properly after 5 mins...what could be the reason for this? Any help appreciated.

I have reviewed this motorcycle in this site please do check
If u ask me b/w 150 or 220 I would definetely suggest to go for 220 because it has the extra power u would expect for the cruisers and cost also doesn't vary too much and mileage could be little less but not too less
