I have bought on Alibaba twice. The first time a heat pump from NEW ENERGY, they had a functional site with valid prices, delivery of the heat pump to the yard.Excellent cooperation, the heat pump is working after four years of operation without problems. Just last year 6 heat pumps were bought from my neighborhood. Cooperation still OK.
In 2021, I bought from Rosen Solar Energy, a Cherry dealer on Alibaba: solar panels, Rosen Lithium Battery, MC4 connector and PV cable. I have had problems since I started shopping. Non-functional Rosen page on Alibaba, increasing the already agreed selling price and unmanaged shipping to Slovakia.
When installing the battery from Rosen, the technician found that the battery was not compatible with the GoodWe inverter. In all the technical documentation available and supplied to me, Rosen guarantee this.
After consulting with GoodWe, we got it working, but the inverter still showed a communication error. The battery was functional but setting the parameters was KO. GoodWe has CAN communication. The Rosen battery after the fact has RS 485 communication. After less than two months of operation, the battery stopped working. The technician, due to the problem and measurements taken, concluded the BMS was malfunctioning.
I informed the Cherry dealer about the problem. I documented the problem with photo documentation. In two months of intensive correspondence, the resulting solution to the problem is zero. No meaningful response. Even asking for help at info-rosensolar has not helped. Ignoring problem solving is about standard at Rosen.
I have also consulted the problem with the manufacturer of the BMS Seplos. There I was informed that the BMS labeled 48100-1101-10D-. that I have installed in my battery has only RS 485 communication. But in all the documentation I received from Rosen, CAN communication is mentioned. This is also the likely problem with the reported communication error.
According to the manufacturer, Seplos, the CAN communication BMS has a 48100-1101-10C/EN/- designation. I have also written to the Cherry dealer about this information from the Seplos dealer.
He has not responded to my request to have a new functional BMS delivered to the battery that meets the parameters that are guaranteed in the technical documentation, unless you count the Emoji.
The technician who helped me select the PV assembly and installed it after delivery commented that he has never encountered such a negative, ignorant attitude.
If you're interested in Rosen PV, keep an eye out for a Cherry dealer. It's a complete disaster. She could sell ice cream with her technical competence and reasoning.
