It would have been definitely better, if they could ask opinions on proposed change.
The scope for spoiling nice reviewer has been increased.
It may be left for readers only,I mean I felt some members click' not useful' rating to spoil that particular member' s review record.
They can put a bar on maximum amount to be won.This feature may decrease number of reviews, but on the other hand MS team may think that after earning that particular amount members won't write.
All in all new format has some flaws that need to be reviewed. This doesn't help to keep spammers and fakes at bay.I do not seek literary brilliance, but honesty is the basic element,and new format has ALSO no control on it.
I agree the onus of being honest in sharing is 100% on members, we should pledge to be honest in sharing and report to team MS whenever we find some fake or plagiarized review about our neighborhood services, any place,or any thing we have used,if review's info contradicts with reality then we must inform team MS.
We can send supporting link,or screen shot to curtail undesirable stuff to appear on our favorite site.We can do that by reading few reviews regularly, specially on the products we intend to write.
I hope team MS will roll back .
