One of the most renowned and popular faces in Bollywood, Katrina Kaif is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Hindi cinema industry. Katrina was born in Hong Kong and for most of her life, she lived in various countries due to her parent's work and constant moving from one place to another. Katrina since her early teenage life was always interested in modelling During her modelling days, the actress was noticed by a filmmaker and ever since then her journey to becoming one of the biggest Bollywood actresses began.

She began a prosperous modelling career in India and chose to remain there in order to advance her career. She collaborated with Akshay Kumar on the 2006 film Humko Deewana Kar Gaye. Her debut in the Bollywood industry came with the release of her film Namastey London in 2007. She claimed that was her first role ever in a dominant one. She appeared in the films Partner and Welcome in 2007.  These two films both enjoyed commercial success. She co-starred in the box-office hit film Race (2008) with Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, and Akshay Khanna.

She wed Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021, in the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. Katrina and Vicky share a very special bond and their marriage has just grown stronger ever since. The actress is always seen in and around the city and the country wearing a big smile whenever spotted anywhere. She has several new films lined-up and has been working on new projects as well.
