Micromax Canvas A1 is one of the finest mobile launched by micromax in its 5000 rupees segment. Micromax Canvas A1 is good in terms of size, appearance,  features and configuration.

It has a great configuration in less budget. It consists 5 MP rear camera with good picture quality and 2 MP selfie camera which clicks amazing selfie . the drawback of camera is  it doesn't clicks good images at night. It has 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal memory but one of drawback of micromax canvas a1 is its memory you must need to insert an SD card to store a single byte file in it.

Sound quality is just ok.  I don't think that you will get that much features in 5000 rupees. I am using micromax canvas a 6 months and it is working fine. I suggest that if you are looking for a phone in 5000 then micromax canvas a1 is a good option for you.

I will say that the phone is good.  However if you have too many apps you will need to get a phone that has more on board memory.

This has only 4 gb. Good pricing and looking phone. If you have less applications it is a great phone. Buy it. It is good.

It will never hang no matter how much app u put into it. this phone has good battery since u have to charge it only once in a day.  easily upgredable to lollipop or upcoming android versions.  u cannot play  much  high end resolution game. internal memory is less but u can expand it. a gud phone worth ur money., I must say that u must buy it . camera is also gud.  but it does not support otg cable

It is the best offer given by google to micromax the google os will b get soon update so I like it it was the best of best for lower cost mobile. I am liking the best range with quad core but excited for latest Android. dislike is the PPI which could be higher. Still requesting more reviews as I am an entry to Android from Blackberry

I am using canvas  a1 since september 2014. Its been more than 1 year. Till now no lag no hanging problems occured. I use it very much for net and gaming. I love my phone. Camera and battery backup is decent. Currently it is running android M 6.0 . It gets uodate very fast . Phone looks very beautiful and is very slim. I really feel very good holding thisphone in my hands.

Pros:-

1) nice display

2) lightweight phone

3)latest Android version, currently 6.0

4) sound quality and video quality is nice(in this 5k range)

Cons:-

1) A bit heating problem in heavy games playing( playing ashphalt nitro)

2) rear camera is not the best, in this price

3) sometimes network problem occurs

Micromax canvas a1 is most beautiful because his function and version most upgradeble and I purchase it so this phone nice.presently this phone version 5.1 lolypop and this phone touch sepertaly work and don't givee any problem.i purchase one year before 6499 by amazon.

I bought this phone for my mom and got Doodle 3 for myself. But, when I say the lolipop update in the phone, I could not resist. I sold my Doodle3 and got an android one. To say the least, I am happy with my decision.

Lets get to the pros:

i. Always the latest from Google(My phone currently runs on Marshmallow which I got the day the update was rolled into the Indian market)

ii. Great camera(In the price range, you cannot ask for more)

iii. No lags(I currently have Marvel Contest of Champions, Real Racing 3, Spiderman Unlimited, Asphalt Airborne and Injustice installed on my phone an can play them with ease)

iv. Internal storage for apps(Higher than most phones in the same range)

However, there are a few things I dont like about it. They are:

i. Low battery life

ii. Heating problem

But, I guess the pros outweigh the cons and if you want a good low budget phone, look no further!

I think  this is good phone.its touch screen is superb.it supports almost all types of formats and audios. and hd format videos, blue ray videos.its not a bad phone.but it is average phone in almost we can do plays games and such

This is the best phone under 6000.I am using this phone since 6months and it is working very properly the specification of this phone is also very good.

The screen size of this phone is 4.5inch which is good.It has the latest android version which is lollipon.The only problem with this phone is Internal storage which is very low.Overall it is a good phone.

Last month I purchased this micro max canvas mobile.this is a completely smartphone where you get all feature.it has 1.3 quad core processor.it support all applications including paytm, Facebook, whats app.you can use this for multipurpose.the best I found this mobile is its camera.it has 5 mp main camera with 2 mp front camera.its front camera make best selfies. it has also android 4.4 operating system.it never hang while multitasking.i disappoint with its memory capability.it has only 4 gb internal memory which is poor.it support 3g internet connection.its battery back up and resolution  is not good.i recommend this canvas mobile to my friends.

I bought Micromax Canvas A1, Android One mobile mainly because of its capability of latest updates of android system and I am quite satisfied with it. It has nice 5 MP Camera and 2 MP Front camera for selfie also. Storage is on the average side though which is 4gb.

Battery backup is good because I am not a heavy gamer. For heavy gamers there are many mobiles with bigger batteries in the market or you can buy a power bank. It does not hang while running some popular games like subway surfers or angry bird. 1gb Ram is quite satisfactory too. After updating to Android Lollypop 5.1 it runs more smoothly now. I will recommend this mobile to anyone who wants value for money.

Micromax provides the most worst service. Pls dont buy their products. In case you get defective product, then you are gone for long.

I submitted my defective handset on 01.07.2015. Today is 30.08.2015. Almost two months. Nobody is responding. Dont know whether they give handset back to me or not. Most horrifying experience with the worst staff and their impotent service delivery. Cheaper goods are always cheap. They proved.

Last month I purchased this phone. I like its quality and durability .i would say it is a completely s mobile with all in one.it has 1.3ghz quad core processor make it best.

It fulfill my all requirement .i love this set among all micro max set.it also one of the largest selling mobile of micro max. it has 4.5 inch display make it bigger.

It has also 1 gb ram with 4 gb internal memory.you can expand its memory up to 32 gb.the best thing is its camera what I like.it has 5 mp rear camera with 2.4 mp front camera.it has also 4.4 android system.it never hang while multitasking.it has also 3 g connectivity purchased this only for 5000 rs.i recommend this one for my friends.

In my opinion Micromax canvas A1 is a good phone with amazing features . I am using micromax canvas A1 from five months and it is working smoothly .

And I am highly satisfied with the service of micromax canvas A1. 5 MP rear camera which clicks good images and you can click awesome selfies from front camera.it consists 1.3 GHz quad core processor and one GB RAM,

Sound and picture quality is OK but there is a problem with internal memory. It consist 4 GB internal memory but these are only for app uses, you cannot store anything in it but in 5000 rupees it is really a good phone, I suggest that if you are looking for a budget phone then micromax canvas A1 is a good option

I bought this phone from Amazon at the time of its launch. They offered me great complementary deals. About product, it initially comes up with the Android kitkat version but is upgradable to lollipop.

The screen is pretty large and easy to swipe. It gives you decent experience of Android, but sometimes it gets heated while charging.

Not a hardcore gaming phone, but advised for those who have limited use of phone such as emailing, whatsapp, facebook, etc. If you compare features viz a viz price - it is worth going for. Overall a decent android phone to use.

My wife bought  micromax Canvas Elenza2 A121 on 26th August 2014. After 1 month of purchase,  phone started automatically rebooting, sometime it showed error of SD card(SD card Unmount) automatically, internal memory showed ‘storage full’ error.

These problems were ok(I could have un7379521 with these) but then a major problem came, phone battery was not charging.

So after this I went to the micromax service center m/s Arihant enterprises, new sanganer road, Jaipur in around Jan/feb 2015.

I told them all the problems, they took the phone for repairing and returned it to me after 15 days .

They told me that they have replaced the charging jack and its fine now.

The phone worked fine for 7 days and then again the same problems occurred i.e. phone was not charging.

I again went to the same service center, this time they told me to purchase a new battery charger.

I bought the charger(though I had the original charger which came with the phone and which also worked fine with other phones).

But inspite of this the battery charging problem was still there.

Then the service center guys told me that this is a motherboard problem and it will be repaired in delhi only.

They told me either they can send it(which will take atleast 30 days) or I can take it to delhi myself.

Since I am a frequent traveler to delhi, I decided to take it myself to the delhi service center.

I took the phone to m/s jabil global services, vatika city point, m g road, Gurgaon which is a micromax authorized service center.

They told me that the guy which had earlier operated on the phone has damaged it.

It was their fault and we will not repair it.

They gave me a slip on which it is written that ‘the board is tempered below charging connection  and it is not covered under warranty’ and they refused to repair the phone.

They told me to take it back to the previous service center.

This is pathetic service from your micromax service centers.

They just bounced me from one service center to another.

The worst part is that the phone is still under warranty.

Why do you guys give 1 year warranty if u don’t want to repair the phone during this free service period.

U can just tell the customers don’t bring your phone for service unless the warranty is Finish938844ed so that we can charge you huge amount for reparing a cheap phone.

This is very disappointing.

My phone is under warranty and it is not my fault if your service center guys have damaged it. It is your fault and you should rectify it.

I request to you to please look into this matter and talk to any of your service center guys whether in Jaipur or delhi.

I want a fully functional phone either a repaired one or a replaced one or else I will try my best to advice my family and friends and their friends to stay away from micromax. I will post about this on each and every social media site whether facebook, twitter etc. and each and every consumer complaint forum.

I am sure this will certainly make atleast a few people to not purchase a micromax phone in future.

So for the last time I request you to  please provide me the customer service that I deserve.

Micromax canvas A1 is the one I am satisfied with. The problems I faced with my other micromax phone was it used to hang a lot. A1 does not hang that much.

The display is quite impressive. Easy to handle, also not too delicate.

I remember once it fell down but the screen was strong enough, it didn't break.

Battery life is Ok but camera is good.

Internal memory is large enough.

sound is great. I am a big music freak so I keep on listening to music and stuff and the battery affords it very well.

I am having a good experience with this product. quite impressed. A product in budget

I thought micro-max is a good brand and the latest  Micromax Canvas A, 1 was launched in the market and thought it was in my budget that is Rs 7000/ and was having all the features which were required by me like Camera rear:5MP front:2MP with flash and 5 inches size .

So that it can fit in my budget and in my pocket too .After purchasing I came to know that the battery back-up is worst among all the smartphones and I regretted a lot after purchasing it .Know a days there are lot of other brands like Motorola, Asus, Redmi which offer better smartphone in the same price . or else go for other micro-max smartphone in the same price.

The first phone released in the canvas series by Micromax India still stands out to be the best phone in it's range with it's really cool features at that price range.

Specs:

The phone has bar shape with a 11.3 cm sized Ips display for greater clarity.

The phone runs on an 1.3 Ghz Quadcore processor with 1Gb ram for faster loading of any kind of game.

And being run on the Andoid V4.4 platform it is now upgradable for the lollipop version of android for increasing the richness and feel.

The phone also sports an 5 Mp primary camera with an single led flash light for capturing images even in the dark and a n 2 mp secondary camera for looking yourselves on your phone when you are getting ready for a party with it's mirror view app.

The phone has 1700 mah battery and internal memory of 4 Gb expandable memory.

Pros:The camera has various modes for clicking shots in various situations and the clarity is also awesome without any shutter lag and the touch screen even though capacitive is like a feature touch one and is really smooth to scroll on.

The design makes it handy and it's wide range of pre installed apps are really useful.

The only disadvantage is the very less battery backup beacuse of which you ahve to carry an power bank always with you.

Otherwise this is the best phone in the low range for all the common man.

This is the coolest phone in the range of under five thousand rupees with android one with support of google. Micromax canvas A1 have android  lollypop 5.1 and amazing camera quality of camera with rear camera 5 mega pixel and front camera of 2 mega pixel. The selfie camera is so good sometimes even better then rear camera. It is a good choice available if you want to enjoy lollypop version.
