I am using this phone for almost two years now. I bought it for 17500 : ( this was the biggest mistake of my life. After a week or two when I increased the screen brightness, I noticed there were white patches all over the screen.

They were not there when the brightnes was turned to minimum. Camera quality is pathetic. No colour production, highly under exposed pic, auto focus takes hell lot of time. Slow processor. Internal memory gets full on its own.

Poor sound output. I use sony XB 450, jbl tempo headfones.yet very poor sound quality.battery life sucks. Phone is tough though. As I have smashed it many time out of frustration when it stops responding and crashes whch happens alot of times. Micromax plz stop fooling customers and make some decent phones. Canvas 4 isnt worth the mony that I spent.will regret it forever.

Micromax has been trying to bring new phones and beat up other smart phone companies but they are still way behind and couldnt cope wid the other brands. Altought the phones are low price and offer various features bt lacks in many areas.

Canvas 4 is the upgraded version but still the camera lacks in clearity and also the phone starts to hang after 4-5 months.

The service is also poor if you go in service centres.

Better to opt other brands.

I wanna share my experience about the micromax canvas 4 mobile phone. its not good and not bad mobile phone.  so we can say that it is average mobile phone.I have a Micromax Canvas 4 which price was Rs.6800.It was creating some problems after buying .When I calling on it call disconnected automatically.Also playing HD games was very hard on it. the company did not helped me.

They didnot repaired my phone or replaced it.I was very disappointed.The next step for me is going to service centre and replace the screen. They replaced the screen, but after 1 week the same problem happened again. This was just one of the bad experiences for me.  so please discuss with your friends when you want to buy this mobile phone.

Micromax is a big mobile conpany india.

They make many products like TV, Tab, phones etc.

I have a Micromax Canvas 4 which price was Rs.6800.

It was creating some problems after buying .

When I calling on it call disconnected automatically.

Also playing HD games was very hard on it.

It's rebooting in every 2 hours.Battery life was not good, after full of charge it's gave me hardly 4 hours.I was really disappointed.

Friends buy it on your own risk.

I was really disaplointed for it.

I owned micromax canvas 4.I got very bad experience of micromax canvas 4.After using for 6 months , its motherboard got damaged. Instead the mobile was in warranty., the company did not helped me.The did not repaired my phone or replaced it.

I was very disappointed. The company is not trustworthy.The quality of the phone was also not good.I suggest not to biy micromax phones.the service of the company is very bad n not up to the mark.

Micromax has changed a lot and now the phones are better and durable. The canvas 4 is a good phone and has also has good looks. Some features are:

Pros:

Has good screen resolution

Battery backup is average

Decent Good camera

Dual Sim phone

Removal battery

Good durability

Notification led available

Cons:

No updates available, cannot update to upcomming versions

Not many sensors available like magnetic sensor, so some applications do not work

It is a perfect phone for a non gaming person. I would recommend using this phone.

Micromax is a company is name which has as many number if haters as it has its lovers.

I as a unbiased reviwer would like to tell my own personal experience with this phone which I used for around 2 years after which the phone got stolen and was till then going great without any problem. Micromax started getting recognition just after they launched canvas hd, and the next phone in line was this one canvas 4.

This phone turned the tables of micromax as it now started getting the attention it well deserved, as before that it was cinsidered a chinese company.

Canvas 4 is a product was way ahead of its times. The aluminium finish on the sides was an icing on the cake. The phone looked absolutely stunning. The features offered was very very good for its price. The features in it were 5 inch 720 p display, the display consisted of gorilla glass which made the display unbreakable and unscratchable. There are many videos available on youtube where people tested the durablity of the phone by trying to break the display with differnent objects like hammer and trying to make scratch marks with the help of blades, keys, coins and so on. The phone had a 1.2 ghz quad core processor and the phone runs on 4.2.1 android jelly bean operating system. The company provided a flip cover with the phone which came in a beautiful design box which reminded of iphones. It was the first time that the anti tangle ear phones and anti tangle usb cables were provided in the box. The box also had a screen protector so that the customers didnot have to run places for the protection of their screen and to find a screen guard. The phone can also be found today at a half price which showd the demand of the phone. The was really very solid with high performance even though it had 1 GB of ram. The phone was high on storage as it had 16gb of internal memory which could be expanded upto 32 gb via a memory card. The phone was a dual sim thus a gift to people who had to carry 2 phones at one time. Overall the phone for a price of 16 thousand was flagship killer for its time. Its my recommendation to buy this phone even if u get it today.

Micromax is an indin mobile manufacturing company. His Canvas 4 is launched in 2014 and it is a wounderful phone. I am using this phone since 1 year and very satisfied with the performance of this. It is very light weighted and 5.0 wide screen. It’s Corning Gorilla Glass is very protected. You can extend memory upto 32 GB and there is no hanging problem with it.

The camera quality is also very good. It has 13 MP camera with high focus.

I bought this phone in 2014.A very good smart phone with amazing features.1.2 GHz processor android jelly bean 4.2; ultra display 12.7 cm hd ips screen.

A brilliant 13MP camera which allows us to take crisp and sharp high quality pictures and videos any time.High internal storage; available at affordable cost. I really like this smart phone . Thanks

I bought Micromax canvas 4, 6 months back and that was one of the biggest mistake of my life in order of mobile phones. I highly disappointed by this phone because of it’s low quality screen. I was travelling in bus and my phone was in my bag, then I don’t know how screen broke and I was shocked that how it can be happened because my bag was full of clothes.

The next step for me is going to service centre and replace the screen. They replaced the screen, but after 1 week the same problem happened again. This was just one of the bad experiences for me. Don’t by Micromax canvas, 4.

The phone is well maintained, in a leather pouch inside a travelling bag and never mishandled. The phone suddenly refused to switch on and when I wen tot he service center they informed that they changed the switch but came back with two new problem SIM slot1 stopped working and GPS did not work. They re-installed the software and fixed the slot, the switch became super sensitive the mobile became desk phone if you lift it from the desk it would restart! tired of things went to the service center again after argument they said they would send it to the factory and it would take 25 days time!

If you are giving up your any other branded phone for micromax. think twice. I have used Benq, Nokia, Samsung, I- phone, HTC, Reliance and Gionee. Micromax is by far the WORST product and real bad customer care

Worst Service Dont Buy

You buy a Micromax phone it is like buying a lottery ticket, you may get a good one but if you get a bad phone the service is the worst. I have purchased a A210 in October, on its arrival we found WIFI and Bluetooth were not functioning properly and submitted for they claimed to have rectified it but when I started using it found that the Volume Key is not working as well as no improvement found in Wifi and Bluetooth. The Second visit to the service center they said they will change the mother board. However on receipt of the phone we found that the IMIE No is missing for which service center Manager says it the Hardware they got from Micromax and that I should not reset the phone.In the third visit they have rectified this problem but I found the microphone and speaker are not working the basic phone itself is not working now. All this took more than one month and my phone is still with the service center.

When we tried to contact Micromax Gurgaon service center they are even more worse they don't respond at all and are worse than the executive at a Public sector bank.

Hence I recommend not to buy a Lottery(Micromax) phone else you may end up like me loosing Rs. 16000/-

Average phone. I have been using this phone since 2014. Initially I faced some problem with the handset. The performance was a bit laggy. Battery on this phone is average.

I need to charge my phone twice a day .  I m a moderate user. Look wise , micromax copied the Samsung design. Bit quality is ok. Speaker and call qualities are good. Viewing angles on screen is quite good.

Talking about performance doing day to day life is good except for a sort of lag here and there. Phone also heats up a bit after gaming and video watching. The best thing about this phone is  camera performance. I compared picture qualities of this  phone  with other high end phones. I can Say the camera of this phone is much better than many phones in the market right now. I recommend this phone if you want a phone with good performance overall with awesome camera quality. Don't expect much from battery life. It is very average. Thank you.

Its been 3 years since I used canvas 4 .this mobile can handle any app and any high end games .but when playing some high graphics game mobile heats .it has 16 gb internal memoery so user get 10 Gb useable it is more for stiring any app and video.canvas 4 has 5 MP front and 13 MP rear camera so you can take pictures in high quality and take selfi .and itsbprice is less than any mobile.so canvas 4 gk fir it.

Micromax Canvas 4 was a good phone about 2 years ago now this mobile has no more importance.now micromax launched more high features phone at low price. this phone's primary camera is good with 13 MP but front camera is 5 MP which is totally worthless. this is quar core processor but it can't able to perform multiple tasking and the main problem is you can't run high quality and large size game because of it's 1 GB RAM.

This phone also have lagging problem and get slow when you run 4 or 5 apps at a time.the battery backup is not that good but remain one day anyhow. and also have a heating problem after using 2 hours.so I wouldn't recommend you to go for this phone because you have better options to buy highly perform device which is better than canvas 4 at this price.

It has bad services likenPoor Wifi reception, Poor screen quality, Poor build quality.Also Services are poor, Service centers quality is too bad. They are not having solutions for complaints & take 10 days to repair any problem. better to buy other brands.

Micromax canvas 4 is one of the best phone im canvas range . I used micromax canvas 4 and micromax canvas turbo both but I found micrax canvas 4 is far better than micromax canvas turbo although the specifications are same but still there is a difference in performance.

Micromax canvas 4 consists 13 mega pixel rear and 5 mega pixel front camera with excellent camera quality. It has 1.2 GHz quad core processor and 1 GB RAM  which makes the app processing good. The only problem with micromax canvas 4 is its sound , sound is not so good but still micromax canvas 4 is really a good option to buy . it is a value to money phone

So I decided to post my comments on Mouthshut to which Micromax team responds with an apology and asks me to write an email. After doing that I get another email stating that someone from their team would contact me soon. It's been 2 days now and I haven't heard back yet.

Real very shame, Micromax!
