There are a very few drawbacks like not having a backlit keyboard or not enough ram but at this price, you should not complain.

This product Asus R558uR is not useful. Their is many defects in this product and money lose product. I personally using this product but I m not satisfied with this product. It is not comfortable as well as his service is bad, their customer service is not proper. I m using this product 5 monts ago.reliability is not proper

I have been using this product since April 2017 and have been happy and satisfied with the product. Asus if offering competitive prices and good quality products. They also have a much cheaper cost of getting an extended warranty at a much lower cost than Dell or HP. However when I was researching the market I was often told that Asus lacks in the service department or product quality but as I came to know from my own experience these claims are wrong. ASUS has a very good, fast and efficient customer service and also very good quality products with minimal heating issues ( Intel processors only as AMD processors tend to heat up) .

It's been 8 months since I got this laptop home. Though, I was a bit worried, initially, to go for an Asus laptop. Hp & Dell were my first preferences. But, I researched thoroughly before I could come to a decision of making a purchase, which longed for about a week. I looked at the specifications in detail. I compared other options on the basis of their configurations & their price. I found some other options such as Lenovo, Acer in somewhat similar price range. The next move was to research about the Brand and Asus came out to be one the most popular brands in computer hardware manufacturers. So, since Asus offered the configurations I needed at the best price - It became my choice & trust me in these 8 months there hasn't been a single moment when I have regreted my decision.

The computer that I was using before was not that great.but this a great for me.

Sound is great, Gaming is cool, I have played games like GTA 5, Watch dog 2, witcher 3, on low to mid settings on an avrrage FPS of 30-50. No heating issues, upgrade your Ram to 8/12gb, everything is so amazing, Good battery backup of approx 4HRS on normal usage. Fast charging, full in approx 1-1.25HRS. Sturdy build, what else we need for 45k ?

I purchased this laptop exactly one year ago and till date I have not experienced any problems with the laptop. It has a stunning full HD display, great storage of 1 TB and a RAM of 4 GB.

It is fantastic for playing graphic games like fifa 17, resident evil 7, battlefield 1 without any problems due to its 2 GB Nvidia graphic card. it's battery backup is great, it can easily last for 5-6 hours even when used intensively.

battery backup:at first I was kindaa surprised by its 5 hr long battery but as of now it almost reduced to half that is 2-3 hours

4gb ram makes it very slow and hangs a lot

heats a lot on gaming

The body cathches finger prints, especially the space below keyboard and besides mouse, it almost feels that I have been using this product for years due to those prints

sound quality sucks

And recently I have found that there are other brands which are offering 8gb ram laptop for same price .So this one is definetely not worth your money
