I bought su kam sinewave inverter 6 months back suddenly it stops working, when we approached the dealer he said u cal their cal center, it was connected after half day continuous dialing, they have recorded the complaint, there after after continuous following of every day service engineer attended after 15 days simply told it was the battery problem, we called EXIDE people(Battery) they have responded , checked and found correct, then again I called sukam and lodged another complaint, it took another 15 days to rectify the problem .

Finally it was the inverter problem and got rectified after 30 days and advised us to use stabilizer for the inverter (THEN WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF ups)that is the quality and service they are providing.They dont have service centres across the country they have only few centers in India so think twice before purchase the SUKAM INVERTER

Pls don't buy su-kam inverter, expecting to get a gud after sale support . I bought  a sukam inverter shiny 850va . The product  serves my purpose but while charging there is a noisy fan inside the inverter.

There customer care and the after sale service is worst, one can experience. I got a complaint with the battery and they told they will replace the battery after many excuses they made. Till now [its more than 2 weeks] its not been replaced. When I call them they reply with some silly excuses.

So this is an advice, the inverter is good but the after sale service is poor. So pls buy only after ensuring guaranteed after sale service.

I'm not the one to write frequent reviews but this experience was compelling to justify one. I have been a customer of Sukam invertor for past 6 months. Before buying the invertor I had extensively researched and chosen Su Kam for thier dependable service and reputation in the market.

The inverter was working well went suddenly one of my 220v to 110v convertor that runs air purifier went bad and blew inverter fuse. The short circuit was so bad that it melted the fuse glass and I was unable to replace it with the spare.

I logged call on call center and was immediately routed to rep who noted down my complaint. The technician called soon and scheduled an appointment and surprisingly kept the time. I had misplaced bills but he didn't make a fuss and repaired in less than 15 min. It was one of few occasions that I have seen exemplary service and this nearly makes it to the top. Kudos Su Kam and keep up the good work!!

I have been using Sukam Trusty 1400 VA No complaints so far silent working Efficient Charging It takes Load of air cooler efficiently without any noise in summer even Mixer grinder Water pump works well.

I just bought this inverter two days ago and found high noise like night jungle. before that , I have been using Microtek that was also producing sound but not like this. It may be again change.

Be careful before to buy any inverter.

We got lured into buying a Sukam Tubular battery Big warrior by the dealer Shivam Electronics Sikenderpur Gurgaon on 3rd April 2012.. The quality of the product is poor and service delivery from the dealer and company su kam is also sub standard.

Request all consumers to be aware that the product is not good as is advertised. My recommendation would be to for Exide Tubular which is a proven product.

I am using inverters since 2004. Although sukam inverters are good in taking higher load then other inverters like luminous & others. It also work very good in ups mode. Due to best technology of line switching from main to inverter mode less then 10 milli sec, which is quit good to run computers. But the short comings is that, the lights twinkle & fluctuate on higher load. Although when battery is full charge. This is only, the weak point of sukam inverters..! Like shiney 850va , torque 850va & all others.

This type of problem not arise in microtek even i had the experienced of old models of mickotek 800va...& the new one like 875va models ! Because microtek using the heavy transformers in its inverters. But mickotek is not ideal to run computers coz its time to switch on ups mode to main or vice versa is less then 15 mily second... It's technology is inferior then sukam ! The best technology are used in sukam inverters. If sukam will enhance the quality of it's transformer like mickotek then no one can beat sukam in the market !

Note;-

1. If you want to give load of house hold goods and computers then go for sukam.

   
   




2. If you want to give load of only house hold goods then you have both option...!

Sukam product is good for first 24 months when it is under warranty, but nightmare will begin once it is out of warranty and have to deal with customer support people. They will force you to buy AMC, and they are right it is better for the Sukam customer to buy AMC otherwise they will regret of buying Sukam product.

Would also suggest to the readers if they will be buying AMC to get the details in writing that what all will be covered in AMC.

I would keep this review short and simple.The inverter is not working during the power cut and the company has told some changeover problem. But the problem they have never rectified. Every time they give some new excuse.I have no option but to discontinue the product and move to some other brand.

The so called name in the Inverter segment, neither maintain its quality of products nor value its customers.

We are the unfortunate people who purchased su-kam "brainy solar inverter" on 2nd june 2012 on seeing the lovely ad in paper boasting so many features. After numerous calls - we were able to get our brainy solar inverter installed on 2nd june (with just the wire put in the charging socket - no solar panel because of ego hassle of service manager, mr. Datta, a very rude person)

Well after a few hours ( exactly 3 hours) there was a fowl smell from the brainy solar inverter so we switched off the charging - mind you, under no load & without being used for even 1 second. On Monday morning, finally, the installation engineer came with all material & immediately declared that the brainy solar inverter has burned off. We informed the dealer who was very prompt & courteous to send another piece within 2 hours & on its installation, it too burned off within 10 seconds, so now the engineer & the dealer passed it on to the company who started their r&d operations both in their office & at our house & instead of giving a new replacement, gave us the repaired brainy solar inverter & installed & left, without even bothering to check if it is working or not.

We tried to contact people about not working of solar charging/ fluctuation in output & battery not maintaining charge, even registered a complaint vide no. 13061070620 but no one bothered to show up, we tried to escalate the issue & were promised action by 6 pm on 20th June but nothing has happened till date.

The only option now is to file a case in consumer court for providing a faulty designed product & experimenting at customer end & removing the plaster/paint of the house by making holes on 2 floors of walls, etc which had just been repainted at a cost of rs 2 lakh+. & getting our electrical products repaired due to bad output from inverter & not providing any service although officially the brainy solar inverter is under 5 yrs warranty.

Got a maintenance free SuKam inverter installed more than 2 yrs back, with Exide maintenance free batteries for home use - in Bangalore. Power cuts are frequent (at-least once in days) in Bangalore. This comes with a trolley as well.

The inverter has been working silently and efficiently in the living room till date, without a single issue.

Adding more text as Mouthshut expects minimum 75 words and it keeps showing some creepy error even after I have finished entering the text.

I am from Chennai and I have been using various brands of inverter for the past six years and last year changed over to Su Kam on the insistence of my dealer. I bought the Su Kam inverter along with the Su Kam battery last year

Everything was fine for about ten months and after that the duration of the backup got reduced considerably. At present the duration with only one fan and one light does not even come to half hour. My dealer came and checked the setup and informed me that the battery has gone out and needs replacement. Since the battery is under warranty, it has be replaced by Su Kam.

A complaint was lodged with Su Kam on Jun/06. Since nothing happened for a couple of days, I called up Su Kam on Jun/08 and was told that the complaint has been escalated to the service centre at Chennai and would be attended by that day itself. Nothing happened and I again called up customer care at Su Kam on Jun/11 only to be told the same story.

In the meanwhile I got the service center number and called them up. They were totally unaware of the complaint and informed me that it would be attended to on Jun/11 itself.

As usual no one turned up till Jun/12. So once again I called up Su Kam to be told the same story again.

No one came up till Jun/13. So once again called the local service centre and they were NOT attending my call. Called up Su Kam and they repeat the same story that some one would attend to my complaint by Jun/13 i.e. on the same day before 6 PM.

06:00 PM came and went and still no one turned up. Worse is, no one even bothered to call me up and inform the status.

I have not come across such a pathetic service from any of the inverter/battery companies I had before. Its high time Su Kam pulled up their service centres OR very soon the company's bottom line is going to reflect the pathetic state.

So anyone going for Su Kam - please bear in mind that as long the equipment is working all is fine and good. The minute some fault crops up, then you are left to fend for yourself. Do NOT expect any support or service from Su Kam.

My complaint is still pending with them. Let me see how long they take to attend to the fault. One is that their batteries don't have the required standard and worse is, they don't even bother to attend to the faults.

Do not go by the Japanese looking name. Ensure about availibility of service in your city.

For me it has been a nightmare. My Su Kam Falcon has gone bust within 0ne year of purcahse and facing services issues since then. hardly oneyone picks up the phone at their toll-free number. Finally someone picked up the phone on last Friday and regisred my complaint saying someone will attend within 24 hrs. No one has turned up even after 3 days. Upon contacting the call centre again(with great difficulty in getting through the) they advised me that there is no customer support centre in Vizag and asked me conatct Vijaywada. LOL.

The Vijaywada centre has their own sad story to tell( No engineer is available etc etc.)

Do not know how long the ordeal will last. Simemring in summer heat during power-cuts without inevrter. Will wait for today or else buy another make dumping the Su Kam in trash.

Su Kam has the one of the worst customer services in the world. I live in Chennai. The dealer who sold the battery to me told that if there is any problem with the battery, they will replace it in 2 days. But days and weeks are gone. It is nearly 25 days since I made the complaint, but still it is not resolved! I called them everyday and each time they will say we will come in two days. But how many "two days"? god only knows. For those who want to buy batteries, I would suggest don't buy this product. Better go for standard companies.

I am a resident of outskirts of Chennai, these days we are facing a regular power cut. I thought Su-Kam is the best company for inverters and batteries adn I went for the company through some distributor.

within one year there is no single service attended by the company or the distributor and the back up has come down for 1 hour or 2 hours which was nearly 6 to 8 hours. Very very very poor service and maintenance, when the customer is coming in search of ur company, the company is responsible for all the things and now the SU-KAM company is telling that I have to inform only the distributor , he is responsible and he is not at all attending the call.

What is the need of the company when they are not responsible for the faults. Why the company is giving dealership or distributorship to such irresponsible persons. DON'T GO FOR SU-KAM inverters or batteries, very very very poor service.

ONCE THEY SELL THE PRODUCT THAT'S ALL THE COMPANY OR DEALERS OR DISTRIBUTORSHIP NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING.

I am a resident of Delhi and in the summers the power cuts are a very big problem, keeping this in mind along with the really high temperatures of Delhi I needed an inverter that could provide long back ups and could also could keep the refrigerator running. On the recommendation of the salesman I went for the Su-Kams pure sine wave inverter.

After using the product for one year, I am really satisfied with it. It provides uninterrupted power and can also run the refrigerator. An added advantage is that it also acts as an UPS for my computer. This truly is an amazing product.

I live in Hyderabad and have been using Su-Kam for more than 2 years now. It is a highly durable product and provides great power back up. I was using another brand inverter earlier which I had to discard after 6 months as it was giving me so much of problems and the service centers were highly unfriendly.

I was recommended by a colleague to purchase Su-Kam Sine Wave, which may be the best advice I have received till date. The inverter has been functioning flawlessly since the past 20 months or so. The battereies we purchased were also Su-Kam.once faced slight problem but it was taken care of within 24 hours by Su-Kam highly efficient service providers.

For no reason is Su-Kam a leader in power back up systems in India.

Well Friends..I somehow find most of the review biased here as I have been using Su-Kam for past 2- 3 years and no complaints. Once there was a minor problem but the service guy was so friendly and even gave me his number to further contact him in case if I have any issues in future...

I would want people to actually try the product themselves rather than reading biased reviews, which can be sponsored through vested interests. I also have falcon in my home and it is also working perfect...

Su-Kam is the leader in inverters and the best Indian company to make inverters and not Chinese.

What compelled me to stop by this site and spend my time to write a review on Su-kam pure sine wave product "Smiley" , is the pure pleasure of using this UPS. And so I really want to share my experience with you and recommend it to everyone like me.

I have shifted to a new house and hence my new set-up is filled with band new appliances and gadgets bought by my hard earned money, and I was going bonkers trying to find a solution as to how I could safeguard my appliances from sudden power cut which causes damage to appliances beyond repair. This had actually happened to my microwave for I bought an UPS.

I got to know of Su-kam 'Smiley' from one of my colleagues. And with the review I got from her , I could not wait to buy one for me. Ever since after the purchase, my tension n concern about my new appliances just vanished. And I am happy , VERY HAPPY indeed with the performance of Su-kam Smiley. And its cost-effective as well.... what more can I wish for.
