I purchased one Haier make1.5 T window AC on 31st May, 2008 from Capital Electronics (VIP), Kolkata which went out of order recently and I lodged a complaint with the manufacturer Haier India at their helpline No. 1800-200-9999 on 18.04.12 and received the Complaint No KOL125080101. The machine was collected by M/s Cool Point an SF of Haier India and after changing some spares for which I had to pay Rs.685/- and Rs.160/- they decided to take the AC to their workshop.
After repeated follow up, the AC was ultimately collected on 3rd May,2012 and till now I am yet to receive the AC back. Despite my repeated prsuation with the representatives of the firm, no specific reply about the status of the AC nor any date has been indicated by them.
It appears that a brand like Haier having presence all over the world has not been able to select a good Service Franchisee.
