ChintaN: you see friend , it all depends on how you mantain the bike RIGHT FROM THE ''BEGINING'',and how well you shift the gears, when, where and at what time(rpm).. for me when I was riding my old scooter I always mantain a speed of 30-35kmph(highway, at the extreme left side) and used to enjoy it single handed riding, not to get surprise I used to get 55kmpl,..i had to buy the bike becoz it was to hard to withstand backbone pain you get in the scooters as well as suspension is hard..now for me riding the bike is like heaven..40-45kmph is sure enough for me.. but you also have the ''14.1bhp of POWER'' under your tap which really encourages you and gives you pride..I use it only in required times..Well , I also analyzed the engine very well,FOR MILEAGE I do the following things.IN CITY:-shift the gears exactly at 3000rpm, *shift gears only if you see the road is clear for about 150-230meters and no blocking things (HUMP, CRATER, TRAFFIC,Someone IS crossing or Something is parked in front)go slowly until the road is smooth and clear enoughdon't uneccesiarly change gears and keep clucthalways fill the best fuel(SHELL Super Unleaded) and use Best lubricants(SHELL Advance-S)check the tyre pressure as recommended by the manfuacter, for every 50-60km(i do for 50km)always fill above 10ltrsIN HIGHWAY:-* almost same as above ..*shift gears At recommended level,1st--0-15kmph(3700rpm)2nd--15-25kmph(3600rpm)3rd--25-30kmph(3500rpm)4th--3
0--40kmph(3500rpm5th---40-50kmph(3500rpm) and come back ,to maintain 40-45/43kmph in 5th gear and cruise smoothly, change gear only when the 5th gear is not holding(knocking sound comes), LUCKILY Beamer goes down to 20kmph in 5th gear (Single rider) , this is where torque helps you in MILEAGE..AND you mantain this from the beginning, I promise you will surely get very good mileage, I have specified the exact mileage I am getting.Remember friend any vehicle can give good mileage only if you know to get it..As far as LML goes..they give very good concentration to each and every single spec.. To tell You Frankly,.. I am the guy who buys a bike for ONCE, atleast lasting for 10-12years.. And mainting it is my first job. ONe more friends , those who have Beamer s reply to me.. I have designed a graph after a long analysis which by using we can get fastest acceration to destinated speed levels(X-axis No.of gears; Y-axis Speed, and rpm)iI have also have a few number modfications which you can fit to get good milage, Super Power and super styling.Hope you enjoyed my advice....MADAN

Hello there,
LML Beamer Owners, Here is the list of alternate spares which are compatible for Beamer,
1) Kick Starter ----> TVS Victor
2)Disc Calliper / Brake Set ---------> Tvs Apache RTR 150cc
3)Carburettor -------> Honda Unicorn 150.
4) Oil sump Bolt( the bolt beneath the engine, which is used to drain the oil) ---->Hero Honda CD100.
5)Accelerator cable.
LML Beamer has unique Accelerator cable , which splits into two beneath the tank, onw goes for carburettor and the other goes for Throttle Sensor Unit (T.S.U).
If the Cable is broken, You may have to go for Honda unicorn 's carburettor having an throttle sensor attached to the carburettor itself.
Use normal single throttle cable, attach to the carb, where as the 3 pin from the T.S.U connect it to the sensor attached to the carb. if it is 2 pin then ...take the middle pin as the ground.
6) Drum brake pads and Disc Brake Pads are available in Plenty.
I have done 50250kms in this bike, not a single problem.
I didn't have any of these problems...collected information from Professional Grarage guys.
One more thing LML released two versions of Beamer in 2004-2005.
1)LML Beamer Version 1:-
Mikuni BS CV 26 Carburettor(Main jet :- 110)
Power:- 14.2bhp @ 8000rpm
Torque :- 13NM @ 5000rpm
Top Speed:- 123kmph
Mileage:- 40 kmpl
2) LML Beamer Version 2:-
Kehikin Carburettor (Main Jet :-105)
Power :- 12bhp @8000rpm
Torque:- 12.2NM @5500rpm
Top speed:- 110 kmph
Mileage :- 57kmpl
version 2 was released in response to the low mileage complaints.
I have Version2, ..and have recently changed to Honda Unicorn's carburettor ( 2nd hand Rs:-1300), because the older one was damaged by the garage people while rejetting, and main jets(spare parts) were not available in the market.
Hope the information was Useful..., any comments will be answered
