“Our stay at Tarkali was one we will never forget". Review on Tarkarli

This small homestay is bang opposite the beach, but honestly there is no  beach view, a very shabby and dirty resort. The loos are filty and the  rooms ever dirtier, the bed was a cemented one and the mattress on the  same was extremelyy uncomfortable. We could actually hear rats  scurrying on the cloth ceiling and saw ants all over the room. The food  too was not at all tasty. Overall we were very upset with our choice of  accommodation and literally braved the time we were there. There are  quite a few resorts nearby that offer much much more in terms of  cleanliness and airy rooms at the same rate of 600 per night with much  tastier food. The snorkeling was good and luckily we did get to spot a  few dolphins. One must make sure they visit the nearby forts and the  rock garden. Overall, as a place tarkali is beautiful , but in contrast  the resort was a total dampner. Would NEVER recommend this resort to  anyone . And yes, there were bed bugs to add to our misery too!!
