READ TO LEAD. Review on Flipkart

My teacher once told me when I was doing my degree- "IF YOU STOP READING, YOU STOP LEADING." From that day I made it a point to read all the good things my Life had to offer, and who better can help you more than books.

So , I started searching for a good book store in my home town and swear no one was interested in selling good books. That was when I heard about flipkart.com for the first time and till today I have shopped for books worth more than 10000 Rupees with them.

This is !India's Amazon.com. The website has 40 lakh collection of books and has a 24x7 support for your problems. Many of the advantages which I feel are:

1) Huge Collection of books. (Books, books & books)

2) Very Simple and well designed website for ease of use.

3) Hell lot of payment options (including gift voucher, in case you want to gift books to someone and don't know their interest then just give them the gift voucher and they can buy online with the gift voucher)

4) Prompt sms and emails about your order and delivery status.

5) This is special, Its called "CASH ON DELIVERY." Pay when you get your books in your hand. (right now the option is available in selected Major cities only)

6) Excellent Packing and Tracing of your courier status anytime.

7) Delivery time is superb. I live in a small town but get my books almost the nexy day everytime.

8) Free shipping for all orders above Rupees 100.

Coming down to Improvement (I dont call it disadvantages or Cons as its a wrong word for such a dedicated company)

One area where I think flipkart.com has to improve is their are no suggestions when I type a name of the book in the search box. This becomes a problem when I dont remeber the exact name of the book.

Overall as flipkart itself says: Its a "BOOK STORE AT YOR DOOR." I promise if you people shop with them once (as I did), you will stay as their customer forever.
