I had booked three tickets for MNIK on 14th Feb ’10 at INOX - Hyderabad from their online website https://inoxmovies.com
First, it took me couple of attempts to book the movie. As the payment failed initial few times from their payment gateway. But was finally booked. But to my utmost surprise, when I receive my credit card statement, I was charged twice for the tickets.Things were still okay till this point. As sometimes such errors happens. My frustration started when I tried to search for their contact number. They don’t have any contact number on their website, except the phone booking number.
I called they phone booking numbers ( both at Hyderabad and Mumbai ) but the person at other end said they can’t do anything, as they only handle phone booking and asked me to send email. Its been over a month since I send email complaint to following IDs contact@inox.co.ineticketing@inox.co.in but I have not even received any acknowledgement of the mail, forget resolution of my grievance. I have already spend 50% of my due refund on making all these phone calls and have finally given up.
I strongly suggest you all not to book tickets online on INOX. Because just in case you are charged more there is no way you can get your refund easily.
These website owners should build up a proper infrastructure to handle all issues before launching such services. They operate only as a one way traffic, to receive money, don’t have any mechanics to return extra charges.
So, my friends, beware of INOX online booking.
