Ok whats all the fuss about? The Great Khali aka Dalip SIngh Rana?
7ft tall 400 odd pounds Khali is the first noticable Indian werestler in the history of WWE. Serving the Punjab police, TGK took an unpaid leave to learn the art of wrestling and since has been contracted to SmackDown brand of wrestling(USA).
On January 2, 2006, TGK was signed to a contract by WWE and assigned to the Deep South Wrestling developmental territory for training. With Daivari(translator) by his side, the then un-named Singh debuted on WWE television on the April 7, 2006 episode of SmackDown!, attacking The Undertaker and leaving him out cold during his match with Mark Henry. Couldnt have announced his arrival better than attacking the Undertaker.
Since then TGK has been through a hell lot of agony and has suffered alot. Most people say that its his language barrier that has let him down or else he'd be the Great One.
ALso Khali has become a TRP raiser for all the news broadcasters in India. this has become annoying for someone like me because all the time Khal has been in the news for no reason what-so-ever.
