Overall a good car but not for the price they quoted. you can get a swift in 4.88 vxi.
Now not chhosen swift for reasons like:
1) dark interiors
2) less space inside, no pockets etc.
3) build quality / rattling noise after sometime
4) big engine so less mileage(around 10-11) in city
5) builky(need to drive in congested areas of bangalore)
6) for small heights visibilty is really poor.
7) taking reverse, parking becomes issue sometimes.
why i10:
1) nice beige colorfull interiors
2) spacious may be more then swift in rear(but bad suspension), many pockets.
3) good mileage in city and highway (13 / 17-20)
4) power stearing(motor driven/ electronic) very good for control in bangalore kind traffic.
nice visibilty all over.
5) not very much impressed with gear box. I think swift even getz is far vetter. but i10 ok.
6) I can simply accomodate 5 members easily, don't know for long rides
enough rear leg room compared to swift. but less boot for highway rides.
7) I can recomend this car for lady drivers. comared to swift/getz etc they will find it more effortless
as size, visibilty, stearing support is better then santro, getz, swift kind of cars.
8) good torque, good power in 2, 3rd gears.sometimes taken 4 people for hilly area in 3 gear and found 4th is better, since no power lag with AC on in any condition.
9) ground clearence is ok.
10) good stability in high speed(santro was simply bad here/ even spark)
So my serious recomendation for people who like nice interiors, driving comfort, space, mileage
if can really afford an overpriced car 4.69 for magna in bangalore.
Its a good car. I never liked santro for bumpy ride, no good control for high speeds, even spark rear suspensions are far better, but stability at higher speeds is not thre.
I think i10 is wide so getting more stability because of its shape.
what else, overall a small family car for conjested cities like bangalore.
and good for highway ride as well. good mileage figures as if now.
service network etc.
