I am forced to write this review after a pathetic experience. I booked my ticket a couple of months in advance and got a good price. I was flying from NY to Mumbai via Milan. As usual the flight from NY to Milan was good but from Milan to Mumbai it was very bad with the idiotic flight attendants mistreating Indians. To make matter worse one of my checkin bag did not arrive in Mumbai. I followed up repeatedly but to no avail. Even after 5 days of my arrival there was no sign of my bag. Later it was traced in Barcelona and guys there refused to send my bag because it was above their permissible Wt limit.
Even at the time of this writing I am expecting my bag and the stupid airline don't seem to bother. I think by the time I receive my bag I will be back in US.Air italia have no proper office in mumbai. Their Indian email bounces and no one pick up the phone when I call.
To sum it up its one of the worst airline I have ever come across. Now I can feel proud that we have such a better airline in the form of AirIndia. I urge all Indians flying home to use AirIndia or other better airline but never ever use AIitalia.
