I own a flat in Sudarsan Acres. I am not 100% satisfied with the builder and the flat. The finishing is not good. There are smudge marks all over tiles in almost all the rooms. Bathroom tiles are broken/chipped. There are marks on the floor tiles which cannot be removed. These marks are on the tiles in the hall also.
The paint on the door and windows are not correctly done. There are patches of paint on the windows and the doors. Surface of the doors is not even. Size of the windows is different in every room. Instead of one single window(normal sized) there are 2 small windows. To open the bottom window, the upper portion of the window needs to be opened. Some of the latches do not close properly. In a single window block, size of windows is different.
Surface of the wall is not even and smooth. Painting of the walls is also OK. Same is the case of the ceiling.
The pipe and other sanitary fittings are of OK quality. Shower and pipe set in the bathroom is very low. The shower is of low height. A person having above normal height will have to bend down to take a shower bath. Drainage pipes in the bathroom are also not fitted properly and they are not laid out properly. Most of the pipes can bee seen. The slope of the bathroom is not correct. After using the bathroom, the water collects in one corner. It does not fully drain out. Sanitary fittings have started rusting in short period of time.
The overall layout is not at all satisfactory. The TV points are given on a very small wall and we cannot fit a TV there. Its very difficult to place furniture properly if we use this TV point. Kitchen does not have a door. There is no hole for placing the gas cylinder inlet tube. The cylinder inlet tube needs to be placed on the kitchen platform. Finishing of the granite platform in the kitchen is also not satisfactory.
The staircase in the building is small. Its very difficult to bring in large pieces of furniture.
Financial dealings with the builder is fine. He is willing to be patient till all the work is complete before taking the full payment.
Most of the home owners say that the "enthusiasm" of shifting in a new home is not there. Overall finishing and layout are not good and the layout seems to be of "old" style.
