Well the name is actually "Yellow Chilli" and not "Yellow Mirchi"....if it is the same restaurant ( I suppose is ) which "Celebrated chef " Sanjeev Kapoor patronizes... to start with I would request Mr Kapoor not just to give his name to the restaurant but to get the people working there trained as well ( It erodes your reputation ) .......It's easy to open a restaurant what is difficult is to maintain the quality of food and level of service ........The outlet in question is at " Pacific Mall " in Kaushambi ....After gaining entry ( we were initially informed that there is a waiting for 1 hr ....we were in after 10 mins )......The table we were given on was bang in the center of the restaurant right opposite the service door ( it needs to be moved from there )....which we eventually changed after 5 mins ......We were 5 paxs however the table we were moved to had only 3 glasses ....AFTER REPEATED REQUESTS IT TOOK THE SERVICE STAFF AROUND 10 MINS TO GET US 2 MORE GLASSES ....Anyhow we placed our order ....3 dishes in all ...The chutney and pickle debris on the table were refilled after REPEATED requests .....food was served and only 2 out of the 3 dishes were placed .......we requested for the 3rd dish and was informed its on it way ......WELL IT WAS SERVED FINALLY WHEN WE WERE ALMOST THROUGH ....It was returned and we got it removed from our order .......And then I committed a sin .....Asked for a glass of Pepsi .......Guys no points for guessing the time taken by our trained staff ( am I being sarci ....me sorry ) .......5 , 7 naaaaaaah 18 mins ( YES I HAD STARTED TIMING THEM BY NOW ) .......Finaly we were through ....dad asked me to pay some tip ......I was prompt enough to say " You must be joking right " ......And guys behold .......WE WERE GIVEN THE FEEDBACK FORM IN THE END .....that's when we all laughed our wits out ..........
On the bright side though .....the food tasted good and the portion size was also enough ....What they really need to work on is the quality of service ( They have huge opportunity there ) .....I have been to there Noida outlet as well ....its not as bad .....Guess we need to have some "Best practice sharing " done guys .......
