I am super fan of xiaomi, and I waited for a long time to purchase this phone and finally I got it. Its first impression to me was AWESOME!. So coming to the pros and cons lets look at pros
pros:
1) Full metal body: guys am telling you you will not regret after buying this phone bcz it looks very premium, nice grip, good to feel, super strong overall a HANDSOME phone
2) Massive battery: 4050maH only one word OMG! seriously guys the battery backup just shocked me. you will get approximately 14 to 15hrs of battery baup on high use
and near about 2 days for moderate use
3) Camera: 16MP rear camera and 5MP frnt camera sounds good!Right? but its not an extraordinary camera I would say that the quality is decent, you will get decent photos in day light and some nice photos in low light overall a good/average camera.
4) Processor: Snapdragon 650 hexacore really stood out from the crowd, it is really fast and smooth. the two core is based on cortex A72 and the other 4 cores are based on cortex A53.because of this combination the phone's efficiency had improved from other phones of its segment. no lags in playing asphalt 8 other games I have not tried because am not a gamer.
5) Big display: 5.5 inch display fits perfectly in your hand no issues of droping the phone, it is a perfect size for a perfect phone
6) Call quality: no call drops no network issues. crisp and clear sound on call
7) Heating issues: I have not found any such issues with my phone, normal heatings are there when charging but I guess it is because of the fast charging, but cools down when it reaches to 50% after updating the phone all such issues were solved atleast for me.
8) Display: display is really very sharp and crisp every details can be seen very clearly on RNR3's Full HD screen
9) Finger print sensor: as promised by Xiaomi it works actually at the same speed they have mentioned, you can also use finger print lock for most of your apps, for clicking pics you can use finger print scanner
CONS:
1) camera quality was not upto my expectations. moto g4plus camera is far better than redmi note 3
2) The position of the finnger print scanner should be in front side for ease in use.It is not a disadvantage but many of us may not find it appropriate other wise it looks super cooool
3) I bought the 3GB version of this phone but am getting only 1.5GB to 1.7GB of RAM when reboot
I strongly recommend this phone who are planning to buy a smartphone with 15k of budget. I prefer xiaomi bcz it always gives a quality phone at a cheap price
Note: The cheap word I used only for its Price. not for the quality
