Chetan Bhagat, like many other bestselling authors, does not deserve all the accolades that he gets. This book is a solid remainder of how mediocre his writing skills are. Although the points he raises are epic, noteworthy, and do seem heartfelt, his writing skills kill any solid interest in the matters he talks about.
If there is any blood-boiling patriotism or urge to change our country that rises from this book, it is not because of the author's excellence in conveying his point, but the inner understanding that the readers have of what he says. It was difficult to gather enough momentum to even finish the entire book - that is how mediocre the book was.
