Recently I went to Satara. Most of the people goes to Mahabaleshwar ( Hill Station ) after visiting to Satara. But my friend suggested me to visit Wai. So I had decided to visit Wai. It is 40 km from Satara. There is a famous Ganesh temple in Wai. River flows alongside the temple so it looks very beautiful. There are many hotels available near to the temple. After visiting Wai you can go to Mahabaleshwar which is only 35 KM away. But this time I went to another small village called as Menavali . It is 5 km away from Wai. Menavali is famous for Nana Fadnavis ( Peshawar's Sardar) Wada ( Bungalow). There is a Mahadev temple . Peshwa offered a very large bell in front of the temple. I will certainly suggest to visit this place if you go to Wai. You can visit Wai and Menavali with in one day. Afterwards you can go to Panchagani (another tourist place) and Mahabaleshwar.
