I recently purchased the Voltas Beko 8 PS Portable Countertop DT8S and am incredibly disappointed. The product is advertised as being “compact and easy to use”, however, it is anything but. The countertop is extremely bulky, making it difficult to move around. Furthermore, the design of the product is terrible and causes a lot of wasted space. It looks as if it was designed with no consideration for practicality.
The quality of the product is also subpar. The plastic components feel cheap and flimsy. The machine itself is noisy and rattles when it is running. Furthermore, the buttons are difficult to press and require a lot of force to activate.
The performance of the product is also lacking. The temperature is not evenly distributed throughout the whole countertop. This causes food to cook unevenly and be undercooked in some areas and overcooked in others. Additionally, the machine does not heat up quickly, making it difficult to cook food quickly.
The customer service is also terrible. I called the customer service line multiple times, but the representatives were unhelpful and not very knowledgeable. They had no solutions to my issues and were not willing to help me solve my problems.
In conclusion, avoerall I am incredible disappointed.
