This is with reference to account number 158165795. It has four phone numbers attached to it. 7291970106, 7291970107, 7291970108, 7291970109. I raised a request to close the connection in November 2018. After that I was assured that numbers will be closed in one week and there will not be any bill after that. But I received the bill again in Jan-2018 with just one number removed from the account. I requested to close the entire account but Vodafone team closed just one number. I had online chat with vodafone customer care to remove all the numbers of the account. But he closed just one.
This was first mistake from Vodafone company. Now there is pending bill of 3800/- against my account. On raising this problem, Vodafone company replied that they only received disconnection request for just one number. I asked him to go through the chat archive on their servers. Then they replied they do not have chat archives to prove the point.
This is invalid excuse because it is not possible for a telecom company to not have chat archives with their customers. Overall the point is, Vodafone company is bent on getting pending amount of 3800/- from me. After few days, they made offer to just pay 1151/- and then they will close the numbers within 72 hrs.(attached snapshot of offer in email and transaction id of the successful payment from me). After I did the payment, they did not close the numbers.
They replied that they want more money from money to close the connections. I have no other recourse then post the grievance to mouthshut.
