I firstly like to elaborate my experience at Vedantu. As inspired by the Youtube videos at V Master Tamil, I planned to enroll in VLC. They just speak like having honey in their tongue. They play with your psychology that without coaching, you cannot crack JEE. They will get ₹;20000 as a registeration fee(They will never ever return this). They will make you to put loan and receive the money from you in a single payment. They will tell that they have the most qualified friendly teachers, 24/7 doubt app, test series and so on. These are just the flashlights to attract you. Afterall just remember that they are just a money making platform or business.
Secondly I would like to mention some advantages for which I just gave a single star in the review section. The team which calls you or handles your grievances was very sweet. They just speak to make you believe that you made the mistake(whatever you confront). They provide some wide range of books in the test series. That's enough now. Getting back to our point
TEACHERS:
Now I want to talk about the teachers. I don't know why they have the worst set of teachers for my batch. I joined for JEE. The Physics sir don't know physics I guess. He just come, read(blindly read) from the presentation and leave the class. If we ask any doubt, he just don't know how to explain and confuses you. A friend of mine teaches Physics even better than him. He speaks different accent. To understand his accent you have to go to a class I guess.
Now comes the Maths sir, he speaks very slowly even wearing the mic. He too just very little bit come out of the PPT to teach some(very little). You have to read the lessons beforehand to know what is he teaching exactly. He don't give any josh or excitement in teaching. Maths is a boring subject(for me) but he makes it even boring and frustrating.
First we had a Chemistry mam, she took the class very interesting. She cleared all the doubts. She come to each and everyone's bench and solve their doubts. But as the management is not happy with our satisfaction, they changed her. We got a new Chemistry mam. She does have a talent that is making the interesting subject boring.
Overall, VEDANTU had made a set of slides(which is used by everyone commonly) and the teachers target is to not make the students to understand but to complete the slide on a given time. They just read or swipe. Actually you can better attend your school classes instead of coaching
INFRASTRUCTURE:
They just have a beautiful walls and flexible bathrooms. But in our batch there were nearly 90 members, but around 60 seats. We would sit compresses, squeezed. We don't understand anything the teacher teaches and this is adding fire to my frustration. Please don't trust the management team. They are world class liars.
REFUND
My school had changed the timings. I had also faced health issues. It takes late night to reach home. So I asked for discontinuing course and requested refund. I had mailed them, called them, informed them desperately. They were giving no response. I felt like putting my money in a river. I uad made my request before the time period, but they haven't responded. They take 10-15 days just to process the request of refund but they will collect the whole amount from you in a single payment. I don't know how do this be fair. They are just money grabbers
Don't trust their words! Don't fall into their traps!
I had to travel long distances and reach home late at night just to be sit in a compressed environment with fellow members squeezing you and attending the classes where the teacher don't know anything about teaching but many things about just reading the slides and completing the target
I am warning the person to not join Vedantu. It's equivalent to put your money in a crocodile's mouth.
I request you to pray for me to get refund back. I feel happy even if I had saved any one of them who are reading this message from falling into the trap.
