I recently opened a SAVINGS ACCOUNT in UBI and my experience was very good .
For metro the minimum balance is as follows:
i. Without check book its 100.
ii. With checkbook its 500.
For urban its 50 olny
So I have a without check book one so my minimum balane is only 100 which is good.
The employees are also very good and humble.
You can also go with this bank as its minimum balance is low as compared to other banks.
and also I would like to mention that the bank charges RS 250 annually for debit card.
