I had been using Tikona Internet since last two years in Indore until I was there. Not because I loved their service but because I didn't have any option in the locality I was living. There was no any other internet providers so I had to go with it.


I was using a plan of something around Rs 600 for which I had to give Rs 675 including taxes. The plan was for first 10gb data at speed of 2mbps and after that unlimited data at 512kbps. The speed was never that what it was supposed to and complaining was not much working. Well! first 10gb was used to be 2mbps but later one was frustrating. And on complaining Speed used to be good only for a week and then the same.


Even talking to the customer care was tough and tiring because you could never connect at the first attempt. And finally, if you got connected solution was temporary because you know it's gonna be poor again.


A good thing was connection reliability. The connection didn't use to drop abruptly. I mean it was not like it never dropped. But It used to drop only once or twice in like 3 months.


Tikona later added a new plan of fast recharges like Rs60 which used to boost the speed to 1mbps for 10gb. The problem was you never know when it's gonna boost the speed. So if you had recharged a fast coupon to watch cricket, it would come when the match would be over.


Finally, when I quitted the service they just kept irritating me for 20 days. Every day there used to be two calls asking the same questions. I told them about my shifting out of the city but that didn't do any good until they got tired getting the same answers.
