Customer Service:

Charges and Billing:

After using tata indicom mobile and land line connection for 5/6 years, I realised I am paying a bomb for my office phone (2landlines) and one mobile connection. My average bill per month was Rs.12000/- pm.

Later I disconnected my Tata landlines and went for BSNL connection, and my bill amount is now less that half.

Now I discovered I am still paying big money for my mobile connection, and hence I am going for Vodaphone which is priced much less. All these 5/6 years Tata's give worst service. Their 121 customer service is OK, but their customer care office at Pune (Shivajinagar) is pathetic.

It is worst than a government office. On many occassions I encountered ANGRY EMPLOYEES scolding customers. I always found it terrifying visiting the customer care office of Tata Indicom at Shivajinagar. The typical scene of customer care office (?) is like a morgue. Tense customers and insensitive employees

I think compared to multinationals Tata's are still far behind in customer service. It seems the fat salaries of Tatas is making their employees lethargic. Irritated customer care officers and receptionist (receptionist is a wrong word here) gives shivers to the waiting customers. It seems for Tata's **EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION** comes before **CUSTOMER SATISFACTION**. I doubt these employees can work in any other strong headed multinationals.

They have a system of giving some token numbers to waiting customers, but nobody seemed to be asking for tokens., it was free for all fish market for long waiting customers.5/6 years was too long a time to bear with unfriendly employees of Tatas.I am giving a try to a multinational Vodaphone (for mobile) and BSNL (for landlines) now, lets see what happens,

Till then Tata bye to TATA INDICOM,
