I wanted to buy a 2 wheeler(gearless) and started fishing for feedback. This is my first bike.

I started getting reviews for Honda activa, (Std, and I variants), TVS(scooty streak, jupiter, wego), Hero maestro, suzuki(access, swish and Lets). My wife asked me to forget about reviews and go fo scooty variants as she was very much comfortoble riding the bike.

I had to balance between both our choices. My choice was mileage and comfort. Finally finalised on Jupiter, honda I and Suzuki Lets.

Approched TVS dealers in Bangalore and they were not very helpful/approachable.They were ignorant. I dropped the idea of owning TVS bike. Honda and suzuki were very approachable and helpful.

We took a test ride on hero maestro, honda I and suzuki lets. Finally based on specifications I finalized on Suzuki lets blue. After submitting my documents my loan with LT finance was approved in 48 hours.

They dealer took 1 week for delivery and I took delivery on 2nd October (dasara).  As expected the accessories (seat cover and all round guard) were of average quality.

I started riding my bike at a maximum speed of 40km. The mileage was 40kmpl. I ensured I filled petrol at BP pumps only.  I reached 550kms in 50 days and left my bike for first service. Engine oil was changed. After first service riding was better.

After 2 months I have completed 1235kms and mileage improved to 50+ kmpl. I ride to office by bike and travel 40km in city limits. I reached maximum of 70km speed and ride was still smooth.

I am satisfied with suspension. Brakes are not great. Initially I was using rear brakes only and then after advice from friends, I started using combination of front(first) and rear brakes. Now its better. But not the best(of brakes in 2 wheeler segment).

Service center was good.

They keep suggesting teflon coating, polish and I refused it and went for suggestions as per manual. I am using Vega half face helmet and it comfortably fits under the seat.

Overall am satisfied with my first bike.
