These people are just cheats. Review on Sri Krishna Travels, Chennai

I had booked a bus ticket through Redbus for my son to travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad on the Sri Krishna Travels sleeper bus leaving Bangalore on 01 Oct 17. The departure time was 21.40 hours. Half an hour before the departure time we rang up the helpline to confirm whether the bus was on time as it was raining very heavily at that time and we did not want to be standing out in the rain fro long. The response from the helpline was appalling. Firstly, the person bluntly said that the bus was cancelled. When I asked him as to why no prior intimation was given regarding the cancellation, he stated that the passengers were informed. When further asked as to the mode of communication regarding the cancellation, he stated that the cancellation information was sent by SMS, telephone and email. I then told him that we had received no such communication, he just very rudely told us that the bus was cancelled and that Redbus has already initiated the refund. I then asked for some written confirmation for the cancellation He just cut the call after this. I then rang up Redbus and their response too was pathetic and they said that they would get back to me in an hour. I reminded then that there was less than 25 minutes left for the departure, the person on the "helpline" just expressed his helplessness. I informed Redbus also to send some confirmation in writing but they too were not willing to do so. Not willing to take any chances we went to the pick up point and waited for over 45 minutes in the rain but there was no sign of the bus.

Both these organizations, Sri Krishna Travels and Redbus are just a bunch of crooks out to hoodwink people. I would urge the general public to blacklist both these companies and refrain from doing any business with them. On my part I plan to approach the Consumer Forum to seek damages from both.
