I have booked a dining table with 4 chairs on the 7th of Jan, Order no:4323911232. While placing orders it showed it will be despatched in 7 to 10 working days.Then after placing the order it showed it will be despatched on 4th of Feb.Till now i.e 10th of Feb.


I have not received my order & also since it is a furniture item, it shows it cannot be cancelled.I wanted this product in view of some occassion at home, but now since it has not reached yet, it is of no use now.When I called Snapdeal, they tell me to refer the terms & conditions. Now they tell me it will be delivered on 19th Feb. So it takes almost 1.5 months to receive a product.


So on the whole, Snapdeal is a big cheat. They keep changing the delivery dates without notice.


Just compare the same with other online shopping sites, their delivery is much much faster.


So I suggest don't buy from Snapdeal.


Again to add to my owes, the dining table Order no:4323911232, was delivered on the 12th of Feb. Their installation team came on 13th to install. They fixed the legs of dining table. Then they removed the packet of chairs & to my dismay, 2 chairs out of the 4 chairs have been wrongly supplied of a different dining table set. After complaining to them to replace only the 2 wrongly supplied chairs, they say they can replace the whole dining set as per their policy & not the 2 chairs.


Now they send a courier to my house to take back the product, & the courier is not accepting as he wants the product to be packed as it was sent. Please note it is not electronic product or footware or some small item which I can pack. We need tools to assemble the table back & need wooden pallets which has to be hammered to pack it. It needs professional people to pack it. How does Snapdeal expect their customer to re-assemble the dining table as it was sent & give it back to them. After a lot of shouting & arguing over phone, snapdeal is in no way co-operating & wants me to pack it.


Finally I agreed to put it in carton box & seal it. Kindly help me to resolve this matter thru your forum. I am at a huge loss as I have paid a large amount of money & to top it up I have tipped the courier guys who delivered it to my house as it was heavy item & also the installation guys who installed it.
