Sivaji -the boss. Review on Sivaji - The Boss

Ivaji -the boss, Rajni's 100th tamil movie. one of the most expensive movies made in India.

This movie got release worldwide in tamil and telgu prints. I heard a

lot about this movie in media. people were crazy about it. and many

non-tamilians also reviewed this as good movie.

So finally on 26th June I decided to go for this movie. unfortunately I

cant find any mate to watch this movie because all my gangsters are

north Indians and don't understand tamil. so I went alone to see this

movie at Priya PVR, Delhi. I thought getting tickets would be tough but

I got tickets for 1900 hr show easily.

Audi was half empty(or half full, whatever u wanna say:-/). I was

alone in my row. movie started. after 15 min two more guys came in my

row and asked something in tamil(i guess) to me. I said I don't

understand tamil. they got a bit surprised and asked me how I am

understand movie.

Now back to movie.

Cops took a man with covered face to prison. and this man was.

super star rajni:-p. now he narrates his story to his prison mate in

next cell.

Story is about a US returned IT professional. who belongs to a rich

family in India. He dreams to start a medical university "Sivaji

Foundation"

Now starts his struggle to get his project approved from corrupt Indian govt officials and politicians.

during this struggle he loses all his assets till movie interval and villain ruins his project.

During all this Sivaji's love story goes on with Vibhuti(Shreya). she too did fantastic job

In 2nd half of movie he takes revenge and fights back to fulfill his dreams.

This movies has everything, drama, action, comedy, romance and some suspense.

Action sequences are very well shot. and there is very good use of special effects.

Though I dont understand tamil but I was able to understand story and enjoyed fights and Rajni istyles.

In this movies Rajni played with chewing gum(center fresh, I guess)

instead of cigarette. may be some censor board ban on cigarette

screening in movies.

This was 1st time I watched some non-hindi non-english movie in cinema hall

it was fun

during songs I went out, dance and songs were horrible. typical India movie style group dances. I dont like it.

btw I understood meaning of BOSS:-P,  bachelor of social service hehehe:)

overall I rate movie 4/5
