I visited Sinthan Top on 21-Jun-23. The weather in Kashmir at that time was around 30 degree Celsius even in Pahelgam. Our driver suggested us this location and we surprised to see so much snow here. The amount of snow is better the top of Gulmarg and Zero Point. This is an offbeat location and not on the standard tour plan of tour operator.
However please note to check whether the road is open here, because normally second week of May the road to Sinthan top is open. The best season to visit is in third week of May till Jun. However once it is end of Jun you will get less snow.
For one day the driver charge us 6000 Rs as he was accompanying us on other places as well, other wise the charges are high.
You can visit this place on return from Pahelgam (Start early morning around 7AM and then you can visit Sinthan top and on same day return back to Srinagar.
While coming down from Sinthan top, please also visit the Kokarnag which is a small but beautiful mugal garden having natural spring water (it also taste very good). It is on backdrop of Mountains and forest.
