Sennheiser is one of the best audio products manufacturer. HD201 is an over-ear headphone made for the studio needs but you can also use it simply for listening to your playlist through your phone or laptop. Its over the year design helps in minimizing the outside noise.
Wire of the headphone is really long so you can use it in your recording studio to monitor sound or you can use it while watching movie in your laptop on your bed. Wire has general 3.5mm jack for your general needs and also an extra 6.3mm stereo audio adapter if you want to use it with your audio interface(music production).
Coming to the sound quality, it gives high definition crystal clear stereo sound. Bass response is good but if you are looking for edge cutting'doom doom' then look for other options. From the view of a musician, it has wide frequency response. I have soundchecked it on audiocheck.net and its response is really satisfactory for my needs.
In terms of comfortability, it's ok as far as its price is concerned. It is comfortable over the ears. If you are getting sweaty then it can become somewhat irritating otherwise in air conditioned environment or in not so hot climate you will be good.
Simply it is a good entry level studio headphone. I have been using it for a year.
