I first heard about Schmitten Chocolates when saw a poster in IIT Mumbai during the techfest in 2015 .I was quite intrigued by the photo on the poster with Priyanka chopra savouring the chocolate and was tempted to have it So, I decided to try Schmitten Creamy Milk as I like milk chocolates only. As I unwrapped the Schmitten Creamy Milk I came across a bar similar in all aspects to Nestle Milk chocolate. However, as Schmitten is aimed at targeting the ‘luxury’ chocolate market with their ‘premium’ chocolates they are priced more from Rs 60 for 50 grams and so on.Now the taste was not bad but again a real swiss chocolate leaves you with a clean palette and has very smooth texture and good cocoa flavour like Lindt, Bourneville etc. In this Schmitten both these things were not present and it tasted just like an ordinary milk chocolate.
There are a whole bunch of other flavours with raisons and nuts and orange peels also. The packaging was alluring as well like the poster I saw.
Schmitten chocolates are priced at Rs 60 onwards and available in local stores also I think.
