Samsung galaxy is better than j7 because I think the size is medium which feel you handy and light weight, though it do not provite screen mirror option and compass option which u can get in higher versions of samsung. if you look the price it is giving better features than other mobiles.
So I suggest buyers to go for Samsung j5 if your budget is 10 to 15 thousand. and if you need a little widescreen picture quality and more RAM ( 2 gb) u can buy j7.
