When you visit Shimla, The closest cinema you will find near Ridge is The Ritz. It means no transport available till the doors. You need to walk atleast 500-600 meters from the closest road! The theatre is located near a church so there are no external disturbances and the area around is quite beautiful. Probably its a very good location for a theatre. But no one likes to watch movies on a broken seat!
Talking about ticket prices: The prices are not too high! as the theatre is not too big, They sell tickets in three classes
1)Gold -150/-
2)Platinum - 180/-
3) Executive -200-220/-
Picture and sound quality: The picture is not good at all. This totally ruins our movie experience. No matter wherever you sit, you get a blurry screen. The detailing is not that good. The theatre is not properly maintained so the sound quality is also very poor. Its difficult to understand the dialogues spoken at a low voice. The another thing is that it has only one screen! leading to a long queue in the booking counter.
I'll rate it 2.5/5 for value of money.
