Pathetic support - never purchase insurance

I was called up by policy bazaar sales person for purchasing car insurance which was due to be renewed in 20 days. They offered me RSA, so I thought of going with them. They claimed that once the policy has been booked, RSA will be delivered. After lot of to and fro mails, they finally send the RSA. Shouldn't this have been seemless? Anyway the real problem I faced is below.


While purchasing the insurance there was some confusion related to NCB, So I mistakenly purchased(Policy number: S8624580) for 17, 315/-. But then I realized that NCB should have been lowered. So I called the sales executive and he told to purchase new policy. He promised to get the previous one refunded. I purchase the new policy immediately for 17, 837/-.


This story has happened 1 month back(on 7th Sept 2017) and since then I wrote innumerable number of emails. But there is no good response from them. They give standard reply that it will happen in 5 days or 10 days. But till now it has not been refunded.


This review is to BEWARE potential policy bazar customers to avoid falling prey to such sites.
