Inhuman treatment by Dr.(Major) P.Premanjali (Radiologist). The doctor was sleeping on patient's cot when my wife entered for ultrasound scanning with a nurse. The doctor became highly irritated at this intrusion and shouted at the nurse. She then made my wife wait for a long time after drinking lot of water.
In spite of my wife crying with abdominal discomfort, the doctor told her that she would not leave her even if she writhed in pain. the doctor scanned other patients who came later all the while making my wife wait in pain. Then finally when she called my wife for scanning she hit her on the abdomen with the probe asking whether it was paining in that area.
The hospital management would be helpless against such specialists as they are in great demand. We were regular visitors to this hospital as the behavior of other doctors and staff are very kind and considerate.
This incident has caused a deep hurt and lack of trust in our minds and hereafter we would think twice about visiting Padmapriya hospital especially if referred to Dr.(Major) Premanjali.
