I'm fan of Onida television for its Audio/sound quality. I bought the CRT TV in 2001 during my school days still it is working fine without any issues. So recently few months back I wnted to purchase the smart TV but I had the confusion that does onida good for smart TV segment as well. but I purchased on flipkart feb 2017.
The price was around 22, 000 rupees, the quality of video and audio is good but not great. I mean the sound system is not great like in their crt television. but the cost wise it is under budget and quality interms of audio, video is good
One issue I faced with this television is, may be not limited to only onida most of the low budjet smart tv has, there is no audio output port available. I thought this features should be inbuild so I didnt even consider while purchasing a TV. when I bought separate 5.1 speaker and tried to connect with tv realized, this onida does not have audio output. so I need to buy separate cable from my dish setof box to speaker for audio, another cable for setof box to tv for video, and mute the tv audio. because hdmi cable by default have both audio&video feature. 2HDMI port is there which is great. mostly I connect my laptop and browse watch online videos/movies. not feeling like I want a smart tv because of hdmi port.
