Ola is providing cab services to public. For this service we are paying amount but this guys are palying cheap tricks on us. They are taking money forcely, even they develop their application according to them. This is one of my friends personal Experience.
This is how Ola is cheating Indian customers
I booked Ola Micro this evening from Forum Mall to Banglore Airport. When I arrived at airport the drivers app was showing?919, I found something fishy & informed driver that the fair is inflated & I am not going to pay. He asked me to check with customer care as the app is operated by Ola. I immediately called Ola customer care & asked to justify the fair. They immediately came down from?919 to?769. They accepted that there's some glitch in their app & it will be rectified.
Guys that's a huge difference with regards to amount of people travel with Ola each day. Normally most of us reaches airport with very little time in hand and just pays the driver and doesn't get in to details. I still had couple of hours to catch the flight & hence was able to question the driver & Ola. They have accepted the glitch in software. They haven't apologised and haven't compensated. So next time you travel please check the distance, additional charges & time carefully.
1- the distance I travelled was 41 km but drivers app was showing 45 km.
2- there's no Toll to enter the airport from city but drivers app was showing? 80
3- the travel time in drivers app was 93 minutes but Ola invoice has travel time of 72 minutes
4- the total difference is of? 150 & you can multiply that by thousands of customers traveling everyday, week, months & years.
Now I hope with all the proofs given & with above statistical analysis of how the wrong invoicing is created the Indian ministry of road & transport & IT act will take care of Ola operations.
