Last Friday as we were hanging out at Lido Mall, Ulsoor, we decided to have dinner at Noodle Bar which opened last month at the Mall.
The ambience was inviting & peaceful. The waiters were dressed in traditional Chinese attire.I liked the seating arrangement; on one side was wooden compartments for a foursome & the other section had table & chairs for larger groups. The time was 7.45 PM and only two other tables were occupied.
The menu has lots more of authentic Chinese cuisine than those of other restaurants I've visited.We asked the chef & he suggested we could go for a sizzler, would fill two light eaters. So we took on the Chicken Sizzler.
The sizzling sizzler was brought on an oval shaped wooden plate. The waiter served in a delightful manner. The two of us were served equal share of the wafers, potato wedges, chicken Manchurian, hakka noodles & cooked vegetables like broccoli & the ‘Golden Calwonder’ capsicum. The meal was aptly spiced & the chicken was delicious.
It was an enjoyable meal & experience. The service was very prompt & the waiters were friendly & helpful in suggesting & describing the dishes. We found it quite pricey but its worth once in a while to taste a new authentic Chinese cuisine.
