I visited the resort on 30th April 2017 with my husband. The resort is away from the hustle bustle of city. It is located on the beach side of Bhandarpule beach. You can get there from Ratnagiri Station. You can take an auto which will charge you around 500/- Rs. and take you through the coastal road with a beautiful view. The resort is around 30-32 kms from Ratnagiri station. The other option is a bit complex. You can take auto from Ratnagiri station to ratnagiri bus depo. and from there you can take a bus to Ganaptipule. The bus will take you through a longer route. From there again you will have to take another auto. So it is better to book a direct auto.
All the rooms are sea facing but please don't be fooled by sea facing. The rooms are in two rows. The front row is purely sea facing and has a full sea view, howvever the second row also has a sea view but through the gap of first row rooms. Emerald is second row rooms and Topaz Deluxe is front side rooms. Choose wisely as per your requirements. I got a good deal through MMT. They also have a restaurant. Which again has a beautiful view. I am attaching the pictures of restaurant and rooms for your reference. The food is good and reasonable. Do try sea food. Since the place is coastal, sea food is really good. Places to visit are the Bhadarpule beach and Ganpatipule temple and beach which is approx. 4 kms from the resort.
Bhandarpule is just a 10 mins walk down the road.I visited the resort on 30th April 2017 with my husband. TYou won't find much crowd here. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset on this beach.
Over all I would like to rate the resort 4 out of 5 for the amenities and the location and the food. have a great stay. Please be careful while choosing the rooms, because you can upset by booking second row rooms if you are expecting a full sea facing room.
