I bought a New Balance shoes from Myntra.com in April 2013. Just 6 months down, the shoe leather outer is peeling off. I wrote to the customer support with photographs and details of the defect. They are rejecting the claim saying it is due to mishandling. Now I am strongly doubting whether they sold me Fake china make product because the new balance product I bought does not show up in the New Balance global website.
Myntra is an classic example of how the customers are sold 2nd grade products online and left at the mercy of the unreachable Online Customer Care( who actually do not Care) .
Please do not buy from Myntra.com. Just observe that they do not have any provision to write a review about any product. It clearly shows that the products are not assured in terms of Quality and Originality.
Either New Balance is dumping 2nd Grade products in India because we do not have strong Consumer rights forum or Myntra is selling fake products in the Online store because they are physically untraceable .
Better to buy from retailers rather than online stores, at least the retailer takes a look at the product before giving out a judgement.
