Last weekend we were at Munnar, we stayed in Sterling resorts our stay was good.The resort had all facilities Rooms were very spacious it had 24 hrs Hot water, Room Heating facilities, Small pantry with utensils, etc .The scenery around the resort was excellent we went for shot walks.The resort is around 20kms from Munnar town.The occupancy was less it was off season.
The season is between March to September. In munnar, there is not much to see just the matupetty dam with boating facilities and Eravikulam Sanctuary. I enjoyed the lush greenery of tea estates and Pleasant weather.
For shopping, you can buy home-made chocolates, Spices, Tea etc.
