I had high hopes for the Motorola Edge 50, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. Despite the sleek design and impressive specs on paper, my experience with this phone was less than satisfactory.
One of the most frustrating aspects is the battery life. Even with moderate use the battery wears out quickly, requiring frequent charging throughout the day. This is especially disappointing for a phone in this price range where I was expecting better performance. I was also disappointed with the camera, which was touted as a highlight. Photos often lack clarity and detail, especially in low light. Inconsistent software processing can make some images look oversaturated and others washed out.
Another big issue is the phone's software. I encountered several bugs and glitches that affected the overall user experience. The phone can run slowly, apps can crash unexpectedly, and promised software updates can be slow to arrive.
The display is vibrant, but the curved edges make it easy to accidentally touch, which can be quite annoying. This design decision, while visually appealing, turns out to be more of a hindrance than a benefit.
Overall, the Motorola Edge 50 feels like a missed opportunity. There are better options on the market, so if you're considering a new smartphone, we recommend looking elsewhere.
