I have been using this speaker for the last 3 months and the sound output is pretty loud and the quality is really good, even at full volume.
If we talk about battery then battery life is pretty good, there is built in mic you can use it to make/ receive calls and if need be you can also use a audio cable connected to the Aux in port.
Now lets talk about the performance. The performance was as good as I experienced with the older mi Bluetooth speaker. Now this Mi Bluetooth speaker Basic 2 is using Bluetooth 4.2, this will help get a good battery life.
There is LED notification light. The power on/ off button can be used to switch on/ off this speaker and can also be used to pause/ play. The volume buttons are just to change the voulme, you cannot use those to control media.
