I have been in retail for almost 5 years and wanted to switch to tech but didnt know where to start. I signed up for Meritshots Software Development program because I needed a clear path, not just scattered videos.
It is not magic - you still have to put in the work - but what helped me was the structure and the way they make you build small projects from the start. I made mistakes, got stuck, but having mentors to check my code made a big difference.
I still have a long way to go, but I have enough to show on GiyHub now to start applying for junior developer roles.
