Maruti recently launched Vitara Brezza to compete with likes of Duster and TUV 300. I think it will be a successfull car in this seagment. Powered by 1244 cc engine it seems powerful enough to scale mountainous hights. While duster has a good look it is higher on the pricing side. TUV looks good with bulky body but Mahindra has been having engine performance and mantinence concern.
All this is adderrsed by Vitara Brezza which is priced in the sweet spot between 7.5 and 9 lac range. Maruti mantainence has always been great so it takes off concerns on recurring costs. All in all it seems to take the market by storm like the swift decade back.
