The Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman and Gerrard Butler starer is a sequel to the 2013 film'Olympus has fallen'. I wouldn't call it an amazing movie, but it was entertaining nonetheless. This time the three of them are in London trying to save the world.
So, the story goes like this, leaders of countries from across the globe gather in London, and Mike Banning discovers that their lives are in danger and there is an evil group of people planning to destroy the world. Banning's priority is of course Mr. President, once again played Eckhart.
All hell breaks loose in this sequel, but as always Banning has got Mr. President's back. Half way through the movie and I wanted to walk away. I like action movies but not the ones which are pointless. Total destruction, chaos, buildings blowing up, it is fun when there is a strong plot holding it all together. Scenes, dialogues are all predictable.
The only good thing about the movie was that Morgan Freeman was there. Other than his presence, nothing else was worth the time and money.
I do not recommend this movie.
